Evening everyone,
Well it was supposed to be a SFD but that back fired on me. My sister invited me to the play barn with the kids so went along with DS. When we got there (using monthly pass) she text to say she wasn't coming. I hadn't bought any snacks or juice as we were rushing to fit it in before preschool so spent £4.15 . It did come out of our entertainment budget though but still annoying.
Anyway, I'm walking into town with a friend tomorrow to pay money onto the cc but had suggested a drink as well. She doesn't drink hot drinks so may as well just invite her round so I can have a brew and she can have juice.
I am planning on doing the food shop on Friday night but that'll be the only spent until the weekend if any.TOTAL DEBT £12,212.46/£2000 paid offDebt Free Goal September 2017#106 Emergency Fund £482.53/£10000 -
Evening..
Just ironed my shirt and my made my lunch for work tomorrow, so thought I should come on here to update!
Not an SFD today! OH is visiting her mum, so I went for dinner with my sister, we went to Pizza Express and as we're on Orange it was half price (Orange Wednesday) so surely that counts for something...haha! And £10.00 on my Oyster card!
All in all, I don't think that's too bad!Save £12K in 2013 £4000/90000 -

Hi All
Hugs to CCL :grouphug:
Well I got M's sandals and shoes from the outlet for £45. He begged and pleaded for football boots but wasn't paying £20 for them when he only has football 6 times per term. Sorry lad but yer trainers will have to do!
We did have tea out... it was late, it was fairly cheap in the food court... I probably spent £5 over and above the shoe budget. So kind of slipped up a bit (already) and not a NSD! It's ok though, I have budgeted. Just when it is gone it is gone
Tomorrow should be a NSD. Will take lunch to work. Don't need shopping or fuel and all good.
Got about £40 worth of Avon order today so that is £10 to me if I get enough in total.
Packed my 3 ebay parcels to post tomorrow.
Can't wait for Scarborough! Looks like weather will be reasonable. Got to pack and route plan tomorrow and then we go friday morning
We are leaving hubby at home with the cats! Can't wait'Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain'0 -
Okay I am shattered. Entirely shattered. A trip to the gym, walked home for my swimming costume and back I went to swim/sauna and steam with a girlfriend. Home via Morrisons and spent £4.24 ( 2 packs of 4 bread rolls for 9p each / tomatoes @ 79p each / soup for 9p / 5 bananas for 79p / cheese for £1.80 and 12 pack of cheap crisps for 59p..)..
Lunch at work tomorrow will be left over veg which I will grill before I leave tomorrow with rice. I have yoghurts etc so should survive two days at work until the weekend..
I have just googled Dave Ramsy and "Whats the cost"... I love using envelopes. Keep it divided, work out to the last penny and be a scrooge like ME!!!!.... I have used the snowball calculator on Whats The Cost!!
Right.. I need to snooze. Plenty more tomorrow. I am aiming for an SFD!!

More hugs to CCL - we are all thinking of you. Short post from Me tonight to report a SFD. Head is in a bit of a whirl as applied for a new job this morning with my dream employer, and advised not to get hopes up as they often have internal candidates. Got a call back this afternoon, saying they will do a phone interview with me tomorrow night, and if it goes well could I come in on Fri for a face to face? All a bit sudden...might end up costing extra as have a non refundable train ticket for long weekend then, so hoping interview will be before? Anyway, I'm nervously wittering on...need to get to bed & get game face on!:idea:LBM @1/4/13 £15,754

Morning Chickadees.. I'm off to work! Great new train journey ( I'm so sad!!!).. Massive good luck to StationarySpender! The long weekend ticket loss might pay off and you get the job! I have my fingers crossed for you but you've clearly made your mark if they want to speak with you!!! Keep us posted please!!
Sun is shining in my part of London Town! Realised my train station is one stop from a hair&beauty college! Might have to visit and get a feel for the place- I remember looking and wondering about the £6 facial! But hey if I can get a total over-haul for £40 I'm happy! Lol!!
Right SFD today- lunch packed, tea is free at work and I'm working late so I should be ok! Amazing that food is my biggest worry! Or do I mean going hungry is.. Hmmmm!
Moving on.. Hope everyone is doing swell and still entirely optimistic about the month!!!

Quick check in to say that I am making progress already. Packed lunches made, dinner for tonight prepped etc.
Today should be another nsd - it needs to be to tell the truth, I really skinted myself in April stretching to pay for a holiday and an expensive gift for my hubby and son. So everything is getting pulled back in now, especially as I've already overpaid on my debt this month.
Have a good day all.Ninja Saving Turtle0
