What a great idea this is - I've just come accross your challenge - are you going to do it next month?
I have a huge amount to pay back in debt, and could do with a focus on a month to month basis. It's really cheered me just reading through peoples ideas and enthusiasm. Thanks!MiMi66 ☺️

Siouxsie, I am lucky to have my Mums Kenwood Chef which is about 30 years old and still going strong! It does make life a bit easier but isnt essential. If I was getting a second hand one I would look for a Kenwood, they are worth the money.
Thanks for getting me thinking YL. My mum has a kitchen full of stuff like breadmakers and food processors that she never uses. Each time I visit she tells me to take the breadmaker but it's too much hassle to take it on the flight home. Hurrah for the timely reminder - they're driving over in July for a holiday so I can gently prod and see what she has that she doesn't need and get her to put it in the car!!! :T:T:T Now all I need is a bigger kitchen and some more hours in the day to bake!
Had a mini spend this evening in the way of a supermarket top up. Just bananas, oat cakes, sultanas, rice and porridgeAnd I got a 5p rebate for using m own bag. Should all see me through to the end of the month and I still have £16.67 left in the food budget.
I wrote to my gym today to cancel my membership. I don't really want to cancel, I'm just hoping they call me and offer me an incentive to stay0 -
Welcome MiMi66 :hello: Yes, stick around, there will no doubt be a June challenge - get ready to tighten your belt!0

Evening all - apologies for being MIA. Saturday was mad, Yesterday we emptied a flower bed and overhauled the garden, today I got up at silly o clock went to bristol on a course, got back, had a drink, picked DD up from school and went to swimming etc... Spent this evening helping a friend with a job application. All good stuff but cream crackered now!
Re the Kenwoods - my mums is still going strong and I have one that is even older and was bought from an auction mart in a box of junk! To be honest my kitchen is titchy and I dont use it much - I prefer a hand blender
Oh and confession time - I bought a sun bed for the garden today - Ive wanted one for ages. Its very basic, packs small and was £23. Its my PPI rewardnow I just need some sun....
Right bed for me - love to all, LAGL xxDebt free on the 28/05/130 -

We plan to keep DS in nursery for two days - he loves it there and we only have to pay anyway - this will ensure that we all get a little break from him - bless. So beach one day if the weather holds, cheap ice skating morning, toboganning (woo hoo) and plenty of films at home (maybe with sweets - ohh!). Also considering her doing extra lessons of swimming each morning to perfect her breast stroke and tire her out if we can convince her
What an ace half term! Fancy adopting me? :rotfl::idea:LBM @1/4/13 £15,754

Oh Boundyminky! It's like you'd have a lot of adults that have never grown up attempting to join you.. If only we knew where you lived..ahem..
Anyone fancy adopting a grabby scrabby crabby tabby? She likes pawing at my mirror in the early hours, despite me covering it because apparently there's another kitty in there.. Oh and grabbing feet under the duvet... Smacking u in the head as an unexpected surprise whilst trying to sleep.. Sleeping on top of you so u can't turn over and generally being a nuisance? Any takers?? I'll pay you??..:-))..pairs if gloves it is then..
SFD planned for me! The office move happens today so I get to wear jeans to work..ooooohbget me! In tow is my horrifically pink backpack as I'll be heading straight from work to see a girlfriend to talk.. Wait for it...'How she can be more frugal!!!'.. Whoop whoop!!! She's buying the tea though..tee hee!
We shall walk to the gym together..steam ourselves into prune like proportions then aim for the cinema for The Great Gatsby! SFD cause I have bananas and lemon cake with me. Should keep us going!
Bread came out like a brick! Why??? :-(
Mightn't have as much computer time today but will check in later ..

i also got my late MIL's 40 year old Kenwood chefand looove it
Also just checked the website of the restaurant where we go for hubbies birthday lunch next saturday. Now I'm glad that he invited two more people as we're now just enough to only get the set menu which is £10 cheaper a head and reduces the overall cost dramatically from £255 to £130 (after subtracting already paid deposit) which is more manageable. Still a lot though.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
