    Debt-free and Proud!
    Afternoon!

Ooo Kat is it geordie boy? I lol'd at people not "knowing the rules". I inwardly sigh at people when they inadvertently break the rules or mess up my plans. I have also been known to give a "death stare" on more than 1 occassion :rotfl:

Buffy - good luck. Just take a big breath and look at your plans - i'm sure you can make them possible. Its horrible to dread going into work - atleast you have light at the end of the tunnel.

Good luck with the PPI claim LAGL!

Today was a SFD and i am ebaying like a good 'un, determined to raise as much as i can to pay off the holiday so i can go back to focusing on my debts. £40 made this week :)

    Hello everyone,

Well I've had a miserable weekend but at least I've had a SFD today.

I managed to fall over while returning to the car with DS yesterday. Didn't land on bump but ended up with abdominal pain so DH and I had a lovely visit to the ante natel triage unit. Thankfully baby is ok and they haven't called me back after bloods came back so haven't ruptured anything :T:T

Today, I did a car boot with my mum but managed to go over on my foot getting to the car. It's started swelling up and very bruised but don't think it's broken. Would really love a nice day tomorrow :rotfl:

I did make about £25 on the car boot sale but won't put it against the credit card as yet. DH now needs a new bike helmet so need to find about £60 from somewhere

I hope everyone's had a better weekend and lots of SFDs. Other than playgroup tomorrow I shouldn't be spending anything. The ILs are going to Gibralter tomorrow so MIL has emptied their fridge out for us. I'm planning on making lots of rice salad, orange cake, carrot cake and a vegetable bake.

Yup! Although we have reached an understanding whereby we know we have no future ( as far as I'm concerned) so I'm not bothered about the no show this time. He has a lot going on apparently so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt this time!

  • oh no Mrs Toast! Poor you! I am so glad that you and the baby are ok - must have been a horrible scare for you.
Hope that you get your feet up and an ice pack on it to help the swelling....and hope that you make a quick recovery.

Sorry for my absence - for some reason, I've been losing posts trying to enter them on my phone. There is so much to comment on that's happened on the board so I'll have to do that in another post, but want to report 2 SFDs for Thursday and Friday. Unfortunately yesterday was my friend's STEN do so a budgeted spend but feeling much the worse for wear today!
Catch you all again in a bit xxx

Jonesy is that what u meant by a death stare...:rotfl:.. I'm interested in what context a person would receive such a look?? Please regale a story.. I like stories.. :-)..although I'm livid with people who 'suggest' something that might break my rules.. An office breakfast?? No thanks. Office drinks tomorrow?? No thanks. A leaving do for someone I don't like?? I'll be in the toilets when the collection comes round.. Ha ha ha!!!!
