I cancelled my sky subscription 3-4 years ago and ever since have been viewing only free channels, my current Sky box is over 10 years old, does anyone know how I would be able to get a free Sky+ box with no monthly subscription?? or even with the cheapest monthly subscription.

there are no monthly subs for the sky+ box anymore. the cheapest anyone is getting it for at the moment is £49 with any channel subscription.

OK, so I've been having problems with my Sky recently (faulty box, taken ages for Sky to finally admit its not my problem). Tried to talk to sales today about a cheaper upgrade to Sky+ but they were having none of it.
Personally, I think I'm entitled to something seeing as I've had 2 weeks of paying for absolutely nothing..
What's the best way to go about it? E-mail Murdoch? Or ask the engineer for something when he comes to fix the box on Thursday...

Engineers wont give out Sky+ boxes, its best to email murdoch

Be persistant and get it for free. I did.

I must add I do pay £37p/m for the sports package. Do not expect to get a free deal unless you subcribe to a premium package.

I have only been viewing free Sky channels for the past few years, does anyone know how I can get a free Sky+ box? I have emailed Murdoch but I am still waiting for a reply

Hi, where can you get a sky+ box for £49? Does this include installation? Do you still have the normal sky box or is it just the one box?
