Hi,
I told them my box was broken as it keeps freezing. I have tried to replace it in the past because of this, but was told I would have to pay £165 for a new box.
The guy offer a new box no problem at all.

Like many others, I get fed up of new customers being offered all the deals and there never being anything for us existing customers.
I pay £57 per month for a ful package (that's including one other box in the Dining Room) but I get sick and tired of there being so many repeats and feel that it's a lot of money for what I get.
However, I wouldn't mind having Sky HD or Sky +, so if it were you, would you ring them up and see if you can reduce your payment for a better package deal?
What would you say if you would do that??
Thanks for your advice
Sal

Gave them a call and was offered the goods for £159!! Not willing to pay that obviously.
I was also told that because I had sports content I could have had this already at no extra cost, first mention they've made of that........
Will try again at the weekend.
PS. My parents have been customers since 2000 and have never been offered a single discount or fixed term reduction. Sky seem to rely on the inertia of established customers and then proceeds to fleece them!0 -
now that a lot of people are getting this offer maybe people can start to say what box they got
new/used
V1 huge ugly thing with a dark front)
V2 all silver/grey
V3 all silver/grey but small
as some people are getting V2 some V3 new, but the flyer shows a V3
were getting ours on Saturday, hope it`s a V3 for size, but also hope it`s a V2 as you can make it better, if it`s a V1 they can shove it in there interactive card slot! (a friend at the last round of this offer got a V1, that thing was HUGE and uuuuugly, he made it over heat just so they would change it)0 -
I am an existing customer and have got my free Sky+ box coming next Tuesday thanks to this thread...
For those of you who are new customers you may want to look over on the referrers board as I have just seen a thread (from Robert1980) when I was looking for something else.........

(Hope this link works - quite new at this !)
Don't know all the details but probably worth a look.
Still not free but better than the £159 some of you have been quoted.
THANK YOU TO ALL WHO TAKE TIME TO POST COMPETITIONS
