Vent - babies on longnhaul flights

Because?
Come on Lokolo, how's about you being considerate for once?
How am I not being considerate?
I have said that sometimes children and kids get ill, that I can understand. But the general concept of a child being able to cope is a lot different to one that is generally well behaved but ill!
Being considerate would mean not taking your child on a flight when you full well know they are going to be a nuisance to other passengers.0 -

Just reminds me of Little Britain ha.0 -

Emergency landing?!
No!!!!!!! I have said that things happen, just like being sick on the passenger next to the kid. I can cope to a certain degree.
There is a difference between a well behaved child that is ill, and one that is not well behaved. This is why I never said to ban all children, not all children get ill, not all children are badly behaved!!!!!!!! Arrrrrrggghhhh repeating myself.0 -

You are not being considerate by showing absolutely no understanding or empathy - children get upset in strange situations, why not give them (and their parents) an understanding smile, rather than whining on about how they should go to Butlins instead?0 -
If you don't have a decent idea that they would be able to cope, you don't take them.
This is why you are annoying people so much with your posts.
When you have children, when they are small, or even when they are older, you never know what that particular day will bring. My daughter can go to school and 2 hours later i get a call at work to say she is ill and can i go and get her. This has happened 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Next day, fine, no problems.
With babies and toddlers, things change hour by hour. You can't live your life thinking "oh i'd better not go shopping today in case the baby is sick/cries/has a tantrum" You'd be a hermit until they are teenagers
I assume you don't have any children, (apologies if i'm wrong) so with respect, i think you should stop commenting now on what people should do with regards to taking their children on flights. It's their decision.0 -

Why do you assume a child that is crying is badly behaved?
Did you skip childhood? You come across as though you were born middle aged.0 -

You've just said that no-one should take their child on a plane... because at some point every child has never been on a plane before (so you don't have a decent idea of whether they'd cope), so by your logic they shouldn't travel.Mortgage when started: £330,995
