But it has - so the OP needs a solution that will give them a better prospect of moving forward. What is the better for her future - a new start or a nervous breakdown?

I am sorry i am not going to go over this.

What you are saying gives the green light to every company to just close ranks and treat people how they wish.

Tell you what i'll sexually harass you, or i'll take the mickey out of your religion or i'll do whatever.

It does not matter though as we'll all close ranks and the person we do it to will just for a peaceful life go find another job cause they have no recourse as were not letting them have one.

In-fact hold on, we want to sack someone so rather then sack them, we'll bully the S*it out of them to the point where they quit.

You keep saying they should give up. I keep saying they shouldn't have to.

Let's just agree to disagree ok.

Easy to say, but in most situations nigh on impossible.

Agree, but people should never be a victim because of a lack of solutions.

It occurs in every walk of life where people are put together.

Yep which is why there are laws to protect the victim...

The reality is that companies do close ranks at senior levels. Whatever you do, you are not going to change that. Accept it and work the system for what you can.

You seem unwilling to answer my question - is the OP better to move on and start afresh or fight this to the point of having a nervous breakdown? It is a simple question.

    It is a simple question, it's also a cop-out.

Personally i say fight it, go down every route you can, be smart, make notes of every comment, build up a case then go from there. Even consider the legal route. Sometimes if you go down that road it makes companies suddenly wake up and deal with it in they way they should have done to begin with.

I have stuff to do, been nice chatting to you guys.

    Good luck Op.. :-)

So you are happy for the OP to have a nervous breakdown in her endless fight? No cop out, just a fact - the OP is already unwell, how long until it completely defeats her?

Yes, all nice and lovely, but in the real world not that useful. In OPs case it appears most of the bullying behaviour is too subtle for "the law".

Correct. This is the brick wall I am up against. Or one of them

The law would appear to be non existent in the organisation I work within.

it is a known fact that HR and Management will always side with a Manager. So I say the OP is at a loss, needs to move on and move forward and look ahead not badgering on about what has happened. They will certainly end up having a nervous breakdown.
