Not entitled to ANY benefit .... SKINT!

in response to people that say that benefits for disanled people are very generous.
i have also said on numerous occasions that i am very good with money and manage,
i have never called for my benefits to be increased, but obviously, losing 20% of cash income would tale adjusting to by anyone.
mikey ... i dont want a bed for the second bedroom. i dont need one as i dont need the room!
i do have a gold up bed that is stored at my friends house for if nmy parents visit ( its been over a year since theyve been here as my mum is poorly). and guess what? i put it in the living room as i wake a lot in the night and listen to the television!!

i give my circumstances as an example of the point i am trying to make, purely because my circumstances are something that i am an authority on.
no one forces you to read my posts, but you seem drawn to them.
mnaybe because you see it as an opportunity to 'vent your feelings'
maybe you need counsekkung to help you ober your issues
Actually, the post to which you refer was the 1st time I have EVER "spoken" to you, so quite what you are on about I have no idea. I have never "vented my feelings" at you.
I think you are an incredibly rude person to suggest I have counselling to help me "over my issues" (of which I have none) and I pity you, I really do.
I so hope your post has made you feel a little better about yourself by attempting to cast me in some poor light, but I feel in all honesty it has done little more than shine it back at you.0 -

i do have a gold up bed
a gold bed - no wonder you manage
(joke)
Actually I do think it's totally wrong for grandparents or relatives to expect parents to pay. It seems against my morals for that, if you offer, you offer unconditionally.
Gran is less well off financially and too ill to leave all the children (but I do leave my eldest, but they both think they know who is babysitting who) for an hour or so. If I gave money to gran to feed her I'd have a flea in my backside.
My parents would see it as an insult too
But ... I'd make it up it other ways and I always offer, it's rejected but I offer and will send the kids with cash to "pop in granddad's coffee jar", it makes it way back, but I tried.
I want to give it as they have less income, they see it as an insult so it is a hard line to draw.
I'd be heartedly insulted if someone paid me to look after a relative but if I was on the bones of my backside I'm sure they'd offer anyway.0 -

i dont post in order to ',ake ,yself feel better' i post mainly in response to questions from other people.
i consider myself to be blunt rather than rude, but you are entitled yo your own opinion.
you decided to join in a conversation that you knew nothing about, and decided what you believed and didnt believe/// again that is up to you.
but you really need to look back over historic posts if you want to comment on my comments towards certain posters.
i didnt seek you out,,, you chose to involve yourself0 -

For some reason i'm now imagining a bed made of gold bars (the actual ones..not the chocolate bars..though that would be impressive  )This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

You suggested I get counselling for my (fabricated by you) issues. And you see that as blunt? Where is the line for you that would make that rude?
And no, I don't need to look at historical posts actually.0
