Thought i'd make myself useful, I work for sky in many different departments, both in outbound ( the annoying one who calls you ) & for cancellations, feel free to ask anything at all, feeling helpful tonight!

I've got Sky Sports but I'm going to cancel them tomorrow for 4 months as i only watch football & f1... F1 comes with hd which i have...i also have sky movies but i won't pay £16 per for this alone so this will have to go as well... so is there any deals on sky movies ... thanks0

Currently an offer on sports bringing them down to £5 for 4 months, saves more that way, £16 saving. as movies will double without sports to 16.0

Don't mention you're looking for one, mention sports to expensive for summer not enough value in it for you.
I myself am a lot more helpful when I get a nice person and a bit of respect, people shouting at me to save money just does nothing for me.0 -
cool I've done a few deals with sky reps and know the game give a little get a little ...thanks0

Ive got a question, Ive just ordered Sky TV, Broadband, Talk... My TV will be getting set up next week however the only time possible to get my phone set up is around the June mark, this may be due to availability...However is there any way i can call up and ask to be put on some sort of list if somebody else cancels their set up day?
Does that make sense. So basically if for some means a date becomes available earlier than june is there a last minute list available for the install.
I hope that makes sense.Better to understand a little than to misunderstand a lot.0 -
BT Openreach do the phone installations, not Sky. I doubt whether there is a way Sky can do what you ask but I'd be interested in the outcome.
Totally agree though, if you are pleasant when talking to CS you'll get better results. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
OP, you need to be careful you're not identified by your employer. Giving out details of their retention offers and telling customers how to play the system to get discounts is probably not wise!0

I fail to see how Sky could identify the poster in question, and that's if he actually works for Sky at all!OP, you need to be careful you're not identified by your employer. I have a question!
I have been with SKY on the full movies and sport packages since 1996 ish. We still have the old white SKY+ box.
I would like to keep the full package and upgrade to a new 2tb box and HD TV.
I would appreciate your view as to what is the best possible deal I could negotiate bearing in mind I have been paying the full rate, without discount, for 17 years? Also could be interested in multi-room, depending upon the deal.
Many thanks0
