What is it with that sort of person? They have no problem imposing themselves on others, but as soon as someone returns the favour, or simply asks them to stop, they get all defensive/agressive.
I have a neighbour just like it. Although, 'neighbour' is too kind of a word to describe what she is.0 -
Happy memories of when I had this!
I just kept knocking VERY loud at 4AM saying I had to nip out as I'd been called in to work, a few times of doing that and they got the message.0 -
If you have no luck trying to talk / compromise with them, check your home insurance policy. You might have legal expences cover which would cover property protection cover. It usually covers anyone making a nuisancance or trespassing on your property. I'm not sure how this works with driveways / access points but worth loooking at.0

I suppose I shouldn't have expected any better from her really, as that's the sort of person she is....I was fuming for ages afterwards though :mad:0 -
Could you put a gate up or a locked bollard in place while your at work?0

Op, when you mentioned scrap van, I was expecting you to mention that it was in bits on the drive whilst their car was causing issues with parking.
If the guy next door is indeed dealing in scrap, he will need a 'Waste Carriers License'. You can check whether he has one by visiting the Environment Agency website. Dealing with waste without the license is illegal & can incur a large fine.Never Knowingly Understood.

If you can't get *off* your drive, you can call the police (or the council, not sure which one but someone with more brain cells than me will probably clarify) and they will arrange for the blocking vehicle to be moved, but this doesn't count if you can't get back on.We may not have it all together, but together we have it all

Yeah.....wait until they sit down to their tea or Eastenders and then knock and ask them to move. Then again 30 mins later. Then again 30 mins later.
Deffo go for the 4am knock as well.
Some people are just stupid and thus need an education.0
