These can only be resolved if the poorer southern member states can devalue their "Euros". Many other issues to address as well. Not least tax collection and tax rates. One size does not fit all.
Soooo lets start with Welfare - its costing us so much already and we seem to be the 'final destination'0 -

To equalise it would mean people in the poorer states living the Life of Riley whilst those in the more expensive states would struggle to subsist, wouldn't it?
It would heavily distort the economy in the poorer countries, nobody would want to work."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

On that basis it is an even playing field and there is no benefit of crossing so many borders to get to the UK0 -

Depends on context.
The first picture may simply be the guy reaching to turn off or adjust the "camera".
In the second I find it hard to see how he he is "brandishing" the knife whilst gripping the blade in his teeth. May be doing up his shoe laces."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

It certainly does go on and on. Now that the "waycist, bigot and xenophobe" taunts are looking more stupid by the day (the truth will always find you out) - the tories are having one last desperate, desperate attempt in their smear campaign and trying to infer that UKIP are Nazis.
It would be laughable if it weren't so treacherous.0 -
What cracks me up most about you Moby is that whenever somebody else posts a News Story you are quick to dismiss it as being from a questionable newspaper ("oh you do realise quoting from the Daily Fail makes you a fool")..........
yet you post this claptrap from a staunch Labour supporting Newspaper.
You just want to have it all your way don't you - bit of a fascist tendency that is.0 -

In my local newsagent they put it on the same shelf as Beano, Dandy and Bunty but you have to call to it a newspaper because to do otherwise breaks EU Political Concreteness rules.0 -
No because as I said earlier you work out the cost of living on benefits in each country and set the figures so they are left with the same amount after all essential expenses
On that basis it is an even playing field and there is no benefit of crossing so many borders to get to the UK
So we would also need to harmonise other " benefits" which are taken for granted in the UK. Free health care, not in Bulgaria, free school meals, education system, transport infrastructure and of course the English language. People will still come here and of course you can actually claim benefits in the UK for your kids abroad.0
