Tory MP Brooks Newmark has written an opening letter to Ed Miliband calling for Ken to be ejected from the Labour party for these comments. It will be interesting to see how Ed responds.0 -

Right wing politics now deeply divided between the centre right (cons) and the loony right (ukip & BNP).
Tories about to move further to the right to pander to the bigot and ignorant vote which will leave the centre ground free for Labour to occupy.

Careful. All sorts of things can happen now. Imagine if there was a coalition between UKIP and the Tories, Cameron booted out, a referendum on Europe as part of the deal and Labour kept out of government by the new coalition.
