Hi everyone, I have recently started the process to reclaim charges from the yorkshire bank. My account for the record is overdrawn but it is now closed and i am slowly paying them back. Anyway, i am at the ask for my money back step and i have recieved today a quite lengthy letter explaining all the charges to me, what they were for and why and also saying that they had a regulary updated tariff of charges and it is up to me to manage my account properly etc etc and basicly they are not going to refund my money. Also they sent the addressing a complaint leaflet with it. I know the next step now is to threaten them with court, the thing i`m worried about is if that don`t work too and i end up having to do that, i havnt got he money to cough up if it all goes wrong etc. Any advice please would be most appreciated.
Thankyou in advance
Kirk
I received the same back in 2007 and didn't continue because we were in the process of a repossession and had a lot of stress etc to deal with. I am wondering now if I can reclaim the amount plus any other charges put on since as we are struggling financially being constantly overdrawn etc Thanks for any replies
