I had a problem with ants last year and they have came back again this year.

I bought Raid ant bait traps (£3.98 from tesco for two), put them down where I seen the ants and within a few days the place has been ant free.

Would highly recommend these as I tried everything last year and nothing worked as well.

Just started comping again, wish me luck!!!

A quick update, it's a few days later and the Nippon gel stuff seems to be doing the trick. Here's hoping it will get rid of them completely :)
  • I had a problem with ants a couple of years back - the flying ones - it make me all itchy just thinking about it. They had a nest in the cavity in the wall in my kitchen. I tried all sorts of stuff - the nippon was good for a little while but nothing stopped them coming back so I had to get pest control in. I used NBC they are great, sorted it really quickly and left no mess at all I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants rid of ants straight away no fuss. They have a website at http://www.nbcbirdandpest.co.uk I filled in the enquiry form and they got back to me so didnt even cost me a phone call. It does cost more than the DIY alternatives but the value for money in getting your home back is well worth it!!
Everything starts with an E - and it does....;)
  • I bought my ant killer online from pestwarehouse they delivered within 24hrs and have a free ant fact sheet which gives you a step by step guide to killing your ants

Have you tried Nippon? It can be bought in both powdered form or liquid.

Or you could try Raid. Tesco, Sainsbury & Waitrose sell this for £2.65.

There's a thread here about getting rid of ants if it helps any.
