Yes I have sympathy for those left behind, but why are you raking up the same old discussion? Let's be honest we have had petitions for this and that - all relating to ATOS and ESA.

Just let it be, we all know that the system sometimes doesn't work - but hey it's the system and we have to get on with it the best way we can.

I have more important things going on in my life than to want to join another crusade.

Sorry but I will pass on this one.

    bigboybrother,

'We all know that the system sometimes doesn't work', tell that to the people who have lost their lives, who were owed a 'Duty of care' by the state. If it was your mother, father, sister, brother, a family member or friend, you would feel very different.

You don't help the argument by being overly dramatic.

I don't know what the answer is, but petitions are not going to get you anywhere.

Over dramatic, no, fired up 'yes'. Lets see if it goes nowhere.

I could argue that everybody has a duty of care to everyone else.

But in life you don't always get what you bargained for or expected.

Put it simply you will object to ESA and ATOS for as long as it exists.

I'm sorry it's not going to work - these petitions. None have worked in the past have they?

I'm a realist and live my life for my family and I.

"First they came for the communists,
    and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the socialists,
    and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
    and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

    Then they came for me,
and there was no one left to speak for me."

All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.

    Bye Bye 'bigboybrother'

Ah so the NHS didn't let them die then, purely ATOS at fault.

Is it blame people need to aportion or would these people have still died regardless of ATOS?

Well, you make sure you look after your family and yourself, that's where your priorities are, nothing wrong with that. Many petitions have worked, the Government have their own petition site.

A valid point - no research has been done to determine why these people died. Even more important (and missed by most of the people that start these petitions) is the fact that the DWP found these people fit for work, not ATOS.

Please elaborate on these many petitions that have worked, either relating to ESA or indeed anything else? The only one that springs to mind relates to the Hillsborough inquiry, but it is likely that would have happened in the near future anyway.
