Good to hear how busy you are SBO..keep on going!MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Month 26 day 14. Busy brizzled, but I am an idiot. I have allowed 2 items to bounce in my bank account. The balance was showing at within the allowed amount and while my margins are normally healthy due to holidays and having to book travel for work at 110 quid a night plus car hire... and various other things they arent so healthy. I didnt realise they were pending and not paid. Argh.
Anyway. On we go. DD is back at school tomorrow and following the puchase of many items of school uniform has announced she still needs joggers and a new pe top as the others are too small.
They are branded with the school logos so I will need to order and have them delivered, and its more expenses but it will to wait to the end of the month. Half mast for a while then.
Today I have a meeting where they will try and get me to agree changes to my terms and conditions so they dont need to pay me the remaining money.
Obviously, I will not agree and I will take my case to the union following the call.
Its stressful and it isnt what I need.
Also the painters van has failed its MOT, so more delays!

You aren't an idiot, you are juggling everything really well.
Sympathise re school stuff. Thought I'd beat the rush and buy DS1 new plimsoles at the end of last school year. One whole size bigger than his last ones and when he tried them on he said they were really comfy/roomy but not too big. Tried them on last night and they go nowhere near him  How can his feet have frown that much in 6 weeks?!?!?! So he is off to school today with no plimsoles which may or may not be a problem depending on if he has P.E today, and I have to go ferreting round in the dross left by everyone else in the shops to find the next size up!!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Chin up SBO! You are NOT an idiot! And you ARE doing really well!!
Tracking money in/out of banks can be an absolute nightmare! The allocated/pending/paid/not paid bit is annoyingly confusing!
School uniforms are sooo expensive! Especially when they insist on branded stuff! Seriously?! Is there any need?! Ok for a couple of items, but George @ Asda etc etc does perfectly fine for the rest thank you very much!!
 to DS1s giant feet lucky!
Hope meeting goes smoothly - stick to your guns!Good luck!

I wish we could go asda but thats a disciplinary issue for the child if they dont wear it. grr.
Ive stuck to my guns and told them how it is. I also said I was not going to agree to anything - and I would be going to the union.
Ive also come out of that meeting and fired off an email chasing the missing shift allowance from the backpay.
In a real stinker of a mood now....Trying to shift that debt!0 -
You don't sound like an idiot to me SBO. You sound like someone who is prepared to stand up for what is right and not allow anyone to walk over them. R E S P E C T :T
I'm not surprised you lost track of the account situation in the circumstances. These work things can be very stressful and distracting. I'm rooting for you.
