30 months to no debt - an Optimistic Journey

Month 28 - Day 12 My word these months are rushing by.
DH working from home - awaiting the delivery from T m0bile. Watch, they wont come til this evening...
Weather forecast isnt quite delivering what it promised as the sky is grey and heavy.
Washing is on the line (all seems nice and clean) and as DH is working from home he can keep an eye - or react to my GET WASHING IN commands via email.
Have to shop today for some strimmer wire and white fly spray. I know how to live - haha. I want my chili plants to be nice and healthy, dont like the critters crawling all over it.
Finishing early and picking DD up from school , then hopefully can get into the garden and get more jobs done.
I also have some ebay to package. We did pay the fees up front from last nights sales and came out with 6 pounds which will be swallowed up by postage allowances, nevermind - todays payers will be mostly profit and I shall get another card paid.
Had post last night saying one of my cards is raising my credit limit. I dont need it but I will take it. Firstly, its my lowest interest card. Secondly, I am going for a mortgage advance and if I am not using all my available credit it apparently looks good. I am keeping that card at zero balance after "the big pay" anyway.
Its 2 weeks tomorrow to the big pay. So exciting.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
He is rather dishy isn't he
It was the dear ones I got, hmmm maybe I'm just to ... You know I can't write the word it will censor it ... I'll let you figure it out lol
I am a bit (picky) as well, but I do spot treat. I honestly have had no issues. Trust me, I would have chucked an epi if I was dealing with stains!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
It was really black here earlier SBO but it has cleared away to gorgeous sunshine. Hopefully the same weather is travelling your way XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Sun is OUT. Still have not had any wine since Saturday. I am saving myself for the weekend though.
Went out and bought some seeds (for next year they will keep and were reduced to ten pence a pack) and some whitefly spray, and a non mse bar of chocolate which I feel I require today.
A short working day for me, I shall be heading home at half three.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
I can report that the 'Cub Camp jinx' is broken. Here in N. Essex the sun is out and not a cloud in the sky.Never Knowingly Understood.

Month 28, day 16. Too right about the weather, what an absolutely fantastic weekend of sunshine, good food and a mens wimbledon champion. I have had wine and whatnot but am back to being good again.
A partially MSE weekend, I just about managed a work/ relaxation balance.
Friday I was working a half day at work and was VERY busy. Once my teleconference ended I was away home - filling the car with petrol en route. I arrived home just after 12 and I contacted the builder who I was due to meet, he was giving me a price for some of the snagging work at the other house.
I completed that task, then myself and DH went grocery shopping. On the way back, we collected DD from school.
The plan was to have a beef dinner, and we did. It was absolutely lovely. I had some wine (YIPEE) and also cut the grass - which it seems like I need to do again today.
The remainder of the day we were outside, making the most of the weather.
Saturday was busy too, I was so deperate to get out and about in the new car and we had borrowed MIL and FILs national trust cards and were planning on taking advantage of the fact there was a farmers market on at a local NT property.
No lie in though, as DS and myself were booked in for haircuts and they were long overdue. We had a pleasant morning at the hairdressers and called home for bite to eat before his football which was being held in a different venue.
After football, we called to McDonalds. DS had been really good and deserved a treat. We ate quickly and changed DS out of his football gear and into some light shorts and a top. The weather was getting ever hotter, so we piled into the car and opened all the windows and set off on our way.
The farmers market was lovely. DD got some pretty things for her bedroom with her money and DH got some smoked salt, stonebaked bread and some dipping oil.
I got home cured bacon or proper bacon!
We did the obligatory route march around the grounds and spent a good 4 and a half hours there.
On the way home the sun had not abated so we decided to call and get some cold light beers.
I made a barbecue tea for us all. It was lovely. DS and DD faffed on with a paddling pool and we all ate until we couldnt eat any more...
We stayed outside until quite late.
Sunday was a little slower to start. It was misty first thing so I did some ironing- then I did some weeding including the potato patch.
DH made us a salad lunch using the last of the barbecue chicken and we ate outside. Then I did a little more ironing and watched the final set of the tennis.
We then piled into the car, and went to visit my mum and dad. A nice couple of hours later and we returned home where we played with DS and some bubble mixture, did yet more washing and also changed our bed.
Today has dawned hot but misty, once it burns off it is meant to be very hot again. As this is the case I am leaving at half three!
11 days to the big pay.

Nice few days of sunshine brightens the mood no end. At least I work in a temperature-controlled building (well, except for the area I work in) so don't get to hot.Never Knowingly Understood.
