30 months to no debt - an Optimistic Journey

Month 28, day 10 . DD2 still not home from Glastonbury due to campervan breaking down. I am so upset and annoyed as this could have been prevented. They quite plainly didnt set off until mid afternoon.
My neices birthday today, she is 16. Loving a knitted onsie I got her at the Asda. we know how to rock nightwear in our family. Fleece dressing downs and fur lined slippers are the order of the day.
Countdown to the big payday continues, 17 days to go.
My sobriety challenge which fell by the wayside a little due to a laizzez faire approach to casual alcoholism is back on. This is because I have felt ill and thought I best sort this... Ive not had a glass of wine in a couple of days but I am still not feeling very well.
I shall treat myself to some nice fruit juices and see if that helps boost my immune system. I will also make an effort to drink water. If I try and refill my cup every hour, should encourage me to hydrate properly.
Harvested more radish last night and have planted a few more out. Also set some late turnips from seed so they can sprout and I can plant in potato city as and when the taties are being picked.
Planted out a cauldron full of spinach too. Will be heading into potato city later and doing a spot of weeding if I get the chance.
Had a lovely meal of home grown salad and radish with some baby new potato and cold meat from our dinner at the weekend.
Tonight is choritzo salad and jacket potato.
Forecast for the weekend is 24 degrees and sunshine. Might go to a national trust place locally where there is a farmers market for a look out. If not I have plenty to do both at home and down the other house!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
cont: Ebay is up to 8.73 as well, everything has a day to go.
Free listing would be good this weekend ,if anyone hears please let me knowTrying to shift that debt!0 -

Yay! The end is in sight
Any word from DD2 since? Hope she turns up very soon.Skint_but_Optimistic wrote: »we know how to rock nightwear in our family. Fleece dressing downs and fur lined slippers are the order of the day.
Ah love it!!All DDs in our house are the same! I actually think they wouldn't own clothes if they thought they could get away with it!! :rotfl:
Hope you're feeling better very soon. Yes do try to keep hydrated. And a glass every hour is easier/better than trying to drink loads in one go. I love homemade smoothies. Must actually stock up on a load of fruit and make some againSkint_but_Optimistic wrote: »Free listing would be good this weekend ,if anyone hears please let me know

Month 28 - Day 11 Minimum balance paid on one card this morning and that going to be paid in full on payday. I am using it next week as my cat needs spaying, young poppy kitten has decided she wants to start going out. One minimum balance remains before payday but ebay will sort that. Its currently up to 11.23.
DH is in a mood, he telephoned t mobile and they said my phone would be delivered this afternoon so he took himself off home. He was in the house by 10am and they had already been. Then, of course the delivery people wouldnt speak to him as he wasnt me. So I rang them and hopefully they will reattempt this afternoon. I had persuaded him not to work from home all day. Hm.
Weather is getting a little better praise be. Looking forward to a nice sunny weekend.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Delivery people can be useless at times.
I wouldn't count on sunshine if you lived where I do this weekend. The local Cub Pack is camping so we are going to get rained on.Never Knowingly Understood.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: As a Beaver Leader I can confirm that it is indeed in the rule book "Thou shalt be rained on when at Cub Camp".
Ditto here, it's the school summer fair on Sunday. Expect snow :rotfl:Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hey all just read from the start and am enjoying it so far, can I ask though why do you like the Eco balls? I've used them and found the clothes still stained, I use them in a 40 degree washing ( maybe I need to go hotter) I also didn't like soap nuts, not sure if I'm doing it all wrong or not but they don't se to work for me
Ps well done on the work situation I had a big cheesy grin when I read that bit0 -
HI Elantan and I love your rutger pic. We went for some top of the range eco balls. They are working fine mind you. I do spot treat still as I have a three year old and I white boost as well. So far my savings have been huge and my washing is lovely. I cant complain. I do still use fabric softner mind - for the smell - I find it comforting (pardon the pun) and ironing is easier.Trying to shift that debt!0
