Yay to the new car! Our handbrake is dodgy too, seems you need to be a weight lifter to actually be able to put the darned thing on (of which I am not...!) Would love to scrap ours

Month 28, day 5. Hi all, I am a little better but still slightly fuzzy about the edges.
21 days to the big pay, and 22 to Majorca. Most importantly, its 21 days to being rid of three debts. as 2 of my cards will stay open but it will mean I can clear them every month.
DD2 is en route to glastonbury. I asked her "where are you at the moment?" and she misunderstood, as I got the response, "just stopped at costa coffee"
Funny little madam!
Got my black bin from the other house last night and have put compost in the bottom and planted some late king edwards in it. Will have a nice late crop with those! worked on the remainder of potato city, and was somewhat hindered by a small boy and a couple of large dogs. Posting the last of the ebay and will definately, I promise, iron.
If the weather holds I shall potter in the garden there is grass to cut and other things to do until 17.30 when DH finishes work.
Very busy again at work and home!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Glad you're feeling at least a little bit better. Hopefully you'll feel less fuzzy as the day goes on.
Tomorrow you can start counting on your fingers and toes to the big pay day
Hopefully the weather is better there than here!Got soaked on the way in this morning!

Lovely sun here all morning now cold and starting to spit at me. How rude. Typical June day in England then eh.

Tonight I WILL book our summer holiday, Majorca is top of my list, followed by Lanzarote, and Madeira .... in fact anywhere the sun is shining ! Loved Majorca last time we were there many many moons ago , Think the night clubs will be much lower down on my list of priorities this time ! :PIts just a bad day, Not a bad life .. :cool:0

Month 28, Day 6 The only nightclub I have any interest in is the one you join to sleep. That would be fabulous as my 3 year old has very little interest in a full nights sleep. Countdown continues... 20 days to wait for the big pay. I have paid 45p on Vanquis and 50p on Aqua. Last of the big spenders...
I shall be purchasing some poo for my tatoes, some compost and some fabric softner. Tonight I will also make sure I log onto intelligent finance and sort one of my pots and name it TFS overpay. Thats where I shall save up to pay lumps off my TFS loan, thus reducing the monthly outlay there.
I am paying off three cards and closing one. I shall keep the other 2 incase I need for the other house. I shall close one more in 2 months and keep the third. I shall I shall I shall keep it at a zero balance because I am going to be better than perfect.
Anyway, its lunchtime, its raining and I suppose I should go for a sortie out of doors. Fresh air to make me wake up for the final three hours this afternoon. urghTrying to shift that debt!0 -
Looked at a Freelander myself. I have a workmate who owns 14 vehicles, 7 of which are Lnadies of various types. Only thing to watch out for is the driveshaft to the rear axle as these fail (but are a cheap & easy fix). He reckons they are more rust resistant than the Disco's, so you should get plenty of mileage out of them.Never Knowingly Understood.

Happy July!! How was your weekend?

Month 28, day 9 thanks all, had a smashing weekend. December 2015 will be my DFD even at worst case scenario and that has to be our focus. I however had to get my little boy some new shoes but luckily Clarks had a half price sale on. So he got trainers too and as he goes to football, thats brilliant.
No spends for me today apart from the husband is having a haircut. Child support is on its way and I have posted the tax disc and the car has been scrapped. 5.88 in from ebay and 6.38 paid to cards. Ebay bids are up to 8.73 and I need to update things for July.
My neice had a great weekend it was her prom Friday and a birthday Dooo on Saturday. Still awaiting DD2 home from Glastonbury. Havent heard anything since Saturday when i presume her phone ran out of charge.
