'Many thanks for your emailadvising that you are not satisfied with the way that the complaint has beeninvestigated and have referred the matter to the Legal Ombudsman.

I am sorry that your trust inus seems to have become eroded and I assure you that we will deal with theOmbudsman in a professional and quick manner.

Given that our relationshipdoes appear to have broken down it is no longer appropriate for us to continueto represent you and I am therefore terminating our retainer with immediateeffect.

We will let the Court and other side solicitor know that weare no longer representing you and they will contact you directly.'

So guess I won't be getting anymore bills and I won't be missing their added value. I still owe them £4000 in fees which I'm paying an agreed £500pcm....

Hope you get a better result from the Legal Ombudsman.

You certainly deserve a refund for the many mistakes they made.

    Take care

So I thought I'd phone the court to see when it would be approved. Guess what?..... They haven't received it???

So I phoned her solicitor (got straight through) he believes it was sent over 8 weeks back but will investigate further???

I hope it's just a mistake with the person I spoke to at the court but it doesn't look good.

I'm relieved to be dealing with it myself directly rather than through my previous solicitor. This way I can react to things quickly and not have to pay for the non value added communication.

The legal Ombudsman have assigned my case to an investigator who has contacted me and asked for various documented evidence and to identify my loss with evidence. So I've some work to do to find what's required. They already have the 11 concern documents with evidence for my complaint.

I'd hoped putah would work tonight so I could post this up for you, heard earlier:

Hadn't expected to see you posting - working on the No News Is Good News principle:-)

Decree Absolute date is contingent on this, too? I do hope those FRO docs are hidden in plain sight somewhere, as per Bretherton's typical-for-Jack best.

How's Jack's new home shaping up?

How's Jack's new home shaping up?

New home is progressing but never at the rate I want it to. Need some plumbing work as the main bedroom which is an extension only has electric heating so I want to extend central heating to have radiator. Had a plumber turn up as agreed to do the quote, seemed good, had lots of good reviews but not heard from him since and he's not answering calls so obviously doesn't want the job. Have another coming Saturday.

Lots to do in every room, deep cleaned bathroom at the weekend but that needs some tilling and holes filling and sealing before decorating. Lounge is a big complex room which will take some time to decorate. Anyway my winter is taken care of, then the summer work on the outside...

All sounds very good on the home front, Jack

Sorry to hear the delay from the court etc.

Remember you also need time out for yourself.

    Take care
