Just spoke to her solicitor who spoke to the court yesterday and confirmed that they did receive the order on 20th July but just put it on file, so good job I chased it up!

Apparently they will now put it in the system to review with the judge but no idea how long that will take???

I wonder how long it would have taken them to put it on file if you hadn't contacted them. Even two months is taking the p.

If I hadn't contacted them to find out they had no record, and then asked her solicitor to find out what had happened then it would remain on file and nothing would have happened until someone had followed up. I wish I chased up before now to ensure it was in the process not just siting in a file. Also it's so much easier more efficient, effective and cheaper me dealing with it directly rather than through my previous solicitor.

I often wonder why we use solicitors

Good on you Jack for finding this information out and using your own initiative. :T

At least you will not have to pay hundreds of £££ to these useless individuals.

    Enjoy your weekend.

On Saturday morning in the post I received the approvedorder from the district judge!!!

Thankfully that part is now concluded! I don’t have a solicitor now sothe post came direct to me without the need for the solicitor to add no valueand charge me for admin. I would havebeen charged for chasing the court and solicitor so I’ve saved a few hundred.

On Friday I sent in to the Financial Ombudsman investigatingmy complaint a response to her questions with 24 attached documents ofsupporting evidence. It’s taken a longtime to construct the response to the questions and find and scan all documentsrequired but I wanted to follow it through. Even if it results in nothing at least I have tried. The investigator at FO gave a deadline of 29September to submit everything, so we’ll see what happens.

The final step is the absolute, I’ll wait until the end ofOctober for her to apply for the absolute, if she hasn’t then I will.

I am so pleased that you managed to save a few bob by not using these incompetent solicitors.

Hope you get a fair and just reward for all their mistakes.

Continue to enjoy your life now, Jack

    Take care

    Fantastic news, Jack!
    Great start to the week.
One more step falls into place and the next is in progress, thanks to your steadfast persistence.
Knowing the final one can be your call too, should that prove necessary, is such a relief!

Thanks yes watching Rugby with some friends Saturday but I was pleased for Wales as they are not having much luck with injuries. In the end the best team will win and the best teams make their own luck but I don't think it'll be a team in White or Red... Sorry off topic there...
