Oh Jack, I am so pleased for you with regards the house purchase.
That will be the start of your new life.
I can only wish you all the happiness in the world and hope that life brings you all you wish for.
Please take care of yourself.0 -
Good news and you sound well. Hey, I am going to miss this threadThe word "dilemma" comes from Greek where "di" means two and "lemma" means premise. Refers usually to difficult choice between two undesirable options.
Often people seem to use this word mistakenly where "quandary" would fit better.0 -
I commented on this thread pretty early on but lurked often & have spent the last 3 or 4 days reading through it.
Without repeating everything that's already been said in terms of the ex MrsJRS, I'm so glad that it's finally reached a conclusion - well, bar the house purchase. Finally, you will be able to move on with your life and hopefully re-establish a relationship with your son.
Please update on the house purchase & how things are generally.
Hugs to you Jack0 -

Well as expected it went against me, I've got to be out by the 30th July and pay the fixed costs £370. I should be OK provided can get the move to the new place for 24th agreed. Seller is OK with it just their solicitor has been away and not responding.
I might have won if the hearing was held on original date of 23 March but change of law has since happened which took the loophole relating to deposit protection.Regards

Sorry to hear that bit of bad news, Jack

I will certainly be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I would have a quick word with the EA and tell them that the deal HAS to be done before July 30, preferably July 24 because you have to move out and do not want to find yourself having to sort out accommodation.
Not that you could not do it is necessary.
Hopefully they can put a bomb up the solicitor or their client can. After all the EA want their fee, please. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
