Definitely, sitting at a concert is boring! Have a great time.

Hope you enjoy the concert, you deserve to have some fun.
  • Hi Jack

Well over the past two evenings I have read this thread.

Jack I think you need to give yourself a pat on the back for staying so calm, I do think your ex is scared, with an unknown future in front of her. I do think she has working potential from what you have said.

I know she may still feel raw with her marriage failing, when mine fell apart my twins where two years old I kept asking my ex to come back, funny thing is if he said yes I knew it wouldn't work I was just too scared to deal with my 3 boys. I never once missed a day off work as I wouldn't of got paid.

I am surprised that she doesn't want to stand on her own two feet a bit more.

My divorce was very simple in comparsion to yours my ex had the gulit factor or just wanted a simple life, I paid him a small amount to have him removed from the mortage and he didnt even get his own solicitor just signed what mine sent him.

Not to sure where you are in the country but try to find something local to do at weekends, nothing worse than sitting in and dwelling on what is happening.

    Take care Jack

Six years ago, in a Birkenhead solictors I was still paying £220 an hour, I hated it.

Thanks, yes I have plenty of things to do and I know it’s always a case of keeping yourself busy. It’s more that I lack the passion for anything that I used to enjoy. Not that I ever enjoyed keeping fit but I was motivated but with all that’s going on nothing seems important anymore. I have to really force myself to do things, classic depression I guess. I did manage to get myself out for a run Saturday, did my gym session last Thursday and played football Wednesday night and will also play tonight. Enjoyed the concert last night, but late home for a school night, not that I would sleep much. I have got drs appointment set for next Friday but will try again for cancellation this Friday.

My ex is currently working 4pm – 6pm each day and attending computer skills course in the morning, whilst still taking and collecting our daughter to the train station 3 days a week.
    Regards

  • Hi Jack

Great news that the ex is working I know it is not alot but it a good start.

Leaving the house at night I know takes motivation, but well done for playing football, hope it you enjoy it - don't know if you are any good but exercise is good for the soul.

I too go the gym I mainly just go up and down the pool and then on to the suana, its a cost I should not really have but we all need a treat and it means I have somewhere to go, if friends are busy.

What type of concert was it?
