I have read lots of different threads & Terms and Conditions show up a lot and also how important they are to your case.
I have read thro' a few T&C's & I still really don't know the importance of having them.
From the cases lost the judge has said that the claimant didn't break the contract, I assume we want the judge to say that we have broken it?
I don't understand this at all.
Could someone perhaps explain in simple language why we need terms etc.???

I have this posted on CAG but without any response

Hi - Im at the later stages of court hearings etc as Lloyds have put up a defence on my claim of £4000. So need to make sure my paperwork is 110% correct before the preliminary hearing (We can't have another loss!)

Its mentioned by Martin & in the forum, that I should have a copy of the banks 'Terms & Conditions' detailing how their charges are calulated etc for the court hearing. But i opened my bank account 23 years ago, so do I need to find the originals?? Or do I use their current T & C's?
Obviously after 23 years Lloyds would have ammended their T & C's to suit themselves anyway!??

Please if anyone can help let me know asap.

Kindest Regards & Thanks for information so far

why not try writing to your bank and ask them to send you the T&C for 1984, thats what am about to do, I,m just going to ask them to send it to me, if they dont then at least I/you have tried which will be favourable in our case where the courts are concerned.

Thank you, I was just unsure if they were the relevant T & C's still? But I will write to them and see what response I get.

    Thank you!
