    I'm beginning to see now how someone managed to walk up behind OP and steal her bag without her noticing.

    Aw c'mon guys, the OP probably posted whilst she was still wound up about it and just wasn't thinking straight. I think she might see things differently now. :D

    No need to keep giving her a hard time. Be nice. :D

    Customer services are unwilling to give me a refund/gift vouchers or free replacement. I am fuming!

    Is it always somebody else's fault when you lose something?

    In future please note, once you have paid for the items they are your responsibility as they are your property. Asda do not offer an after-sales insurance policy on their items.

    Sorry, I misread that bit, not that I have any idea how far away 40 yards is anyway.

    Although, if your trolley were that close to you I'm surprised you or your friend didn't notice someone walk up to it.

    It's 120 feet or 105 metres.

    40yds = 105 metres?

    40 yards = 36.923 metres. ;)

    1 yard = 36 inches
    1 metre = 39 inches

    40 * (36 / 39) = 36.923

    :)
