  • Hi I would be annoyed considering it was raining, as mentioned it wouldn't take long to send a text so at least you knew!

I have however come to realise that many people (not your friend in this case) just don't even think about the effects on other people especially if you're serving food. We have one pair of friends that are never on time so we always say they have to be here an hour earlier than we want in the vague glimmer of hope that they'll arrive somewhere close to it.

Hope your eb*y sales go through to add to your progress today.

  • Thanks mummy, I've calmed down but now have the can't be ars£d to make an effort attitude when others can't for me, I will be ok in a couple of days, spent almost everyday of the holidays doing something or meeting up with people. I honestly feel wiped out and feel like I need some me time, but we are out again tonight at friends and I really don't feel like going, Doesn't help that it is chucking it down and it's an outside thing.

Been into town today, spent £4.35 in fabric shop on craft bits for DD, £6.75 in butchers and £34 in sainsbugs.

Tomorrow I'm going to check banking/cc accounts, see what's going in and out, do a meal plan for the week, add a couple of items to ebay.
  • Morning.

Ended up having a lovely evening despite the weather being against us, kids really enjoyed the fireworks, friend did jkt spuds and beans for us all, simple but warming when we had been out in the rain and very much appreciated. Also the evening knocked me out of my huff :D.

Today I have woken up with a really sore throat, what is it with me at the minute I seem to be getting one thing after another, maybe its the time of year, lots of bugs about.

Need to have a look at skintdads blog as I need to borrow his Chinese chicken recipe, going to do Chinese for tea. Chicken fried rice, black bean and garlic stir fry pork and some Chinese chicken thighs with noodles, It seems a lot but we don't have enough of one thing to make one meal as I'm using left overs so thought I would do a Chinese banquet, have some prawn crackers in the cupboard as well so will use those.

Moneywise I need to do banking, have some ebay items ending today, 2 have bids on so I know they are going to sell, will relist what doesn't and have a couple of items to add. Still waiting for onepoll money this is to be thrown at the Tesco cc when it hits paypal.
  • Morning Penny :)

You have had a busy few days. What annoys you/me another person sometimes just doesn't understand it. I hope today you can get a bit of time to relax, fight the sore throat before the week begins again.

    Must check skintdads thread.

  • Good evening everyone.

I'm feeling much brighter today, but DD is unwell, fingers crossed she makes up brighter tomorrow as the children are back at school and i'm back at work.

Made £15 on ebay yesterday and listed 4 items and relisted one, fingers crossd they sell.

SPendy day again, £3.71 in boots on medicine for DD, spent £10 in the £ shop lunchbox bits and socks for DS.
Went out for lunch (naughty I know) spent £30 and also spent £1.99 on honey and bread in sainsbugs.

DH has managed to hurt his neck, not sure what he has done, think he has twisted funny and is struggling with it, he has spent the evening sat with a heat pad on it.

Hope everyone is well, sure I've forgotten something will probably remember just as I'm getting into bed.

    Night.x.
  • Hope DH is feeling better Penny, not good having a grumpy man around!
