  • Hi Chrysalis, hope your well.

Been to aldi and spent £70, bought lots and should keep us going for a while, got a huge pumpkin that was reduced down to £1.48, which I though was a bargain, kids are going to carve it later. Also Put £30 of fuel in the car.

This weekend may be a spendy one as DD might be getting her xmas/birthday present a little early, but will update more if it happens.
  • Morning.

Feeling low today and for once it's not money that has caused it.

I Know I'm a bit of a control freak and that I like things done in a certain way, I know I have an issue with time keeping and if i'm running late it makes me anxious, I also can't stand being kept waiting and get wound up if someone is late and they don't let me know if they are running late, which I know is not always possible but most people do have a mobile on them. I got really upset last night because I was kept waiting in the pouring rain for half an hour, the kids were soaked through and freezing cold, when my friend arrived I was very offhand and I know this was wrong, but she couldn't really see it from my points of view and just said she couldn't get parked, which I know is a pain and the reason why I parked away from the event and walked to meeting place. I know she was annoyed with me and talking about me to others because I'd sent a snotty text wanting to know where she was, so I now feel I'm to blame and blew it all out of proportion as DH can't understand why I'm still upset (his time keeping is also carp).

Sorry for the rant/ waffle just needed to offload, feel like I'm going mad.
  • Back to money.

Online banking checked and everything looks ok, done a couple of Onepoll surveys and checked adpoints, need 75p to cash out of pure profile, but I'm getting screened out of any surveys I get.

No more ebay bids but there are a couple of watchers so fingers crossed they bid at some point,

Still need to do sainsbug order to use voucher, will check cupboards ad see what I want to stock up on.

DD has a friend to play today, so need to think about what to feed them for tea, might do sausage and chips as most kids will eat that, she is a lovely little girl so don't thin she would complain at anything I gave her.

Only spends today should be £3.50 for DSsports club.

Morning I know how you feel patience is not one of my strong points. I also agree takes 10 secs to send a txt. Have you spoke to friend again ? Maybe worth sending a txt and talking? Surely you can sort things out. :):)

  • Morning hun,

I know exactly where you're coming from. I too hate it when people are late, especially when I try and make the effort to be on time.

Feel free to rant, its your diary xx
  • Thanks shinner.
I'm seeing her over the weekend, so will speak to her then.
  • Thanks purple.
That's the thing I don't get I managed to get there on time and would be mortified if I had done that to someone. Poor DD was shivering because she was so wet and cold and it was just shrugged off by my friend.

Penny, it was really inconsiderate of your friend, but is it worth raising your blood pressure over ? Let it go hun, its not worth holding onto .

If you make more of it, your friend will just get defensive and it will blow into something bigger. Let it go, its not worth your energy ... Or losing a friend over. X
Its just a bad day, Not a bad life ..
  • I totally get your point of view re friend. Especially if the kids have suffered for it.

I also get Mara's point though. Maybe next time she will think about contacting you if she will be late but is it worth falling out over? Xx
