Hi amber and thanks for posting, our washing does seem to breed during the night.
So this morning I went and put fuel in the car at sainsburys spending £30, decided to do my food shop whilst there instead of driving to aldi, spent £43 but knocked off £17.50 worth of nectar points, so only cost me £25.
Also nipped to the farm shop on the way home, bought a huge sack of potatoes for £6 and dozen eggs £2, chickens are only laying 2 a week and will probably stop soon altogether, been talking to DH and we have decided to get a few more come spring, I do love my chickens.
Paid Barc card bill as i forgot to do it the other day £165, paid the minimum payment on this one as it has lowest APR at 6.9 %, so concentrating on paying off Tesco at the minute.
Garlic chicken and roasted veggies for tea tonight and DD has made apple crumble for pud nom nom.
Weather is dry today but cool, have lit the stove and still have the CH off, going to light some candles later in the dining room, think a room always feels warmer when candles are lit for some mad reason.0 -
Have ordered an xmas present from max!miles using points
, love getting stuff for free.

Back at work today, my new motto is leave it at the door, not bringing any carp home with me.
Was home an hour late due to someone's car breaking down and police closing one lane of traffic, I didn't get wound up by it, I just kept telling myself I was lucky that I have a working car and not looking at paying a huge garage bill, felt quite sorry for the person actually.
Today has sort of been a NSD, DS requested a halloween costume for a party next week that he had seen in Tesco so I nipped in and they had sold out of his size, looked online when I got home as I thought at least I could order it to store for free and all his size had sold out online, so I looked on amazon and managed to get him a similar one that is cheaper and I've paid with amazon vouchers that I already had. DD doesn't want a costume as it apparently not cool to dress up, I can see me having to throw a costume together at the last minute when she can't go trick or treating as she has nothing to where.
The weather has been very wet and windy here and is going to continue like this all week, but at least e have the wood burner and havn't had to put CH on yet.
Didn't get around to DS room yesterday but made a start on my wardrobe, its a built in one with loads of shelving, decluttered 2, put spring/summer stuff away, couple of bits for the charity shop and a couple of bits for the bin, also spotted a little black dress that I have only worn once and a smart jacket, both good for xmas parties but not sure if it is too early to put them on ebay, what do you reckon?
Off to have a quick cuppa and then off to do the school run.0 -
Good to see you more chipper. Maybe some of it is the weather..I know I feel low at the moment. Have next week off and can't wait tbh. Only 4 more days to go:D
Woodburner on, CH off and washing dry. Fish pie made and just veggies to do. Excel spreadheets up to date...so feel vaguely in control:D ( probably wont last though:rotfl:)

Hi Brizzle, much more upbeat. I can't change whats happening, but I can change my attitude/reaction to it
.
Got as far as cleaning out DS walk in wardrobe:eek: so that's organised and tidy, 2 bags of carp thrown away and a couple of ebay items found, hoping for a free listing weekend soon.
Pasta bake in the oven cooking and another load of washing whizzing the machine.0 -

Evening, good day at work, think the positive thinking is working.
Managed a NSD, took lunch to work, also took some cup a soups as well to keep in my drawer for emergencies.
Weather here is awful and its rained for most of the day, having to use the TD to get the washing dry.
Very boring but low cost tea tonight, Jkt spuds beans and cheese.
No other news i'm afraid, could do with some survey payouts as I would like to overpay the CC, I am doing a coupe of hours overtime tomorrow but won't see the money until next months pay packet,0 -
We had the same dinner as you
with 7 mouths to feed it certainly is cheaper than our usual meaty dinners
Sorry you've not been very well, hate the changing weather as you just know it's going to hit your house, it's always just a matter of when! DS2 has been put to bed already as he's been whingy and upset all afternoon (super tired) so early to bed in the hope it doesn't turn into a bug!
I think you've done fantastically well paying for all that as well as reducing the debtxx
