Well done PWPS. Here's to the next £40.

Enjoy the bath when you get it sorted Polly.

  • So I have been trying really hard not to whinge about work, but I don't think I can manage it any longer, I'm really unhappy and just not enjoying being there anymore. I have the Monday morning blues everyday and don't want to go in, but I know I have to stick it out 1) can't just jack as I have too much debt. 2) looking for another job but there is hardly anything going locally. 3) (A POSITIVE) it fits in perfectly with childcare and I have all the school hols off, not really much else I can say :(.

Today I have managed a NSD, DH is out for tea tonight so me and the kids have had egg and chips for tea, very easy and very yum yum:).

    Nothing else to update sorry:(.
  • Well done on the payout PWD :j

Keep going scuba, you will get there soon.

Hi pwps, you have been struggling on so hard, but I do wonder if there is a reason you haven't thought about a DMP?
You would still be paying off your debt but with (hopefully) the interest stopped, you would pay it back in a better paced way...

Well done on having come so far, I am just wondering if now is the time to get some support

Morning pennywise, sorry to hear work is getting to you. As you know I've recently started working in a school and it's been a real eye opener for me! Don't know what to suggest, it's awful when you feel trapped in somewhere you're not enjoying. You need to try get out really.

Sorry your struggling with work pwps :( I know how awful it can be when your not happy in your job, hope you find something else or things improve for you.

Also what chevalier said have you never considered DMP I do a self managed one no through a company, I've paid off one of my cards completely and the other 3 and catalogue are well on there way to being cleared, I only wish I'd have done it sooner.

    Take care xx

  • Hi guys and thanks for your comments.

Been to the docs today and I have a chest infection, thought it was just a nasty cough, so I'm on anti biotics, at least I might stop feeling so blurgh.

Thanks for the comments regarding the DMP, but its something I really don't want to do, I actually thought we were doing quite well especially the last 6 months, debt is reducing, we have managed to pay a big vets bill, oil for the tank, save money for the Mot/service for the car next month and so far have £450 cash for xmas., maybe I'm wrong but I think thats pretty good.

Work was ok this morning and I think I'm just ready for half term break, seems to be a long Half term its been seven and a half weeks:(.

Today the only spend was on a multi pack of hula hoops in Mr T as kids needed crisps for lunch boxes and these were on offer at £1, I managed to not buy anything else:D.

Right off to dish up tea, beef cobbler, mash spuds, and veg nom nom.
