Penny, i hate my job too, but like you it fits with life. I don't have any suggestions but maybe you should try and see Citizens Advice or something similar over the holidays and see what the options are.

  • Thanks PWD, exactly my job fits into my life adn I just keep thinking I've only a few more years until the kids won't need me around for school hols etc and maybe I can look into doing something different then, feeling a bit more upbeat today :D.

Thankyou Rags, your kind words mean a lot. I am drinking loads and trying to rest :o.

Decided to go into work today as it will be quite an easy day as the class i'm in are having a story-telling workshop come in and entertain them this morning.

Loads of beef cobbler left last night so 'm going to freeze and it will be an easy meal for one night next week :D.

Must try and remember to pay B Card today, don't think its due until the 23rd, but want to get it done.

Small spend today, just £1 for the tuck shop for DD/DS.

Hope everyone has a good day.
  • Morning Penny

Glad to hear you got checked out by the doctor, that probably explains the bad form you were in.

Keep going as you have done so well getting everything paid and planned.

    Take care of yourself. :)
  • Thankyou sweetpea, I agree I think when you feel like c**p, it makes everything in life seem that way, hopefully I will perk up over the next few days and feel back on form.

I've just put washer on and had to go outside to the garage, the weather is vile.

Morning pwps hope your feeling better I agree everything seems a lot worse than it is when your feeling poorly hopefully you'll be back on top form soon :)

Your doing great paying your debts and saving £450 for Christmas is great :) I only suggested DMP as an option if things ever got to much to deal with, hopefully you won't need to go down that route if it's not what u want.

I've signed up to a new survey site which seems pretty good doesn't take long to do and with a low payout amount it's call viewsbank not sure if your already a member? If you want me to refer you PM me your email address :)

Take care and not long till half term now xx

  • Thankyou, i'm feeling much brighter today. I think the anti biotics have kicked in as i seem to have much more energy.

Gutted DD bedroom today, threw out a bin bag full of broken stuff and random carp. also found a cuple of items to ebay. Going to do DS room on Sunday.

Tomorrow will be a cooking day, HM soup, HM bread and cakes.

Other jobs for tomorrow will be to sweep the drive as it is full of leaves from the horrid weather we have had.
Try to get rid of mount washmore in the garage, where the hell does all the washing come from.

Hope everyone is ok,enjoy the weekend.

Don't you know that every night your washing breeds and multiplies, its even worse when it is cold and wet and you have trouble getting it dry.

Was going to have ago at making HM bread again, but last night came home with six loaves of bread from the SM as they had loads of the stuff reduced to 20p each.

Good luck for sunday for cleaning your DS'sroom, definitely need a rest after that.x
