Afternoon all.
We have broken up for half term and we are all looking forward to a week off recharging our batteries.
Yesterday I had a grocery delivery from Asda, had a free delivery code and as I wanted to spend the day decorating, decided to use it and not go to Aldi, so £77 spent.
Got up early yesterday and started on the hallway, wallpapaer stripped, relined and painted and woodwork painted, looks lovely and didn't cost a penny as I already had paint etc sitting in the garage.
Have tidied around the garden and checked for anything that may get blown away, stove is lit and have brought in a huge pile of logs, we are preparing to battern down the hatches, although I don't think the weather is going to be as bad up here as down south.
I have a couple of bits that I need to ebay, only low value items, but if they sell it's a few more pounds off tesco cc and less clutter around the house.
Hope everyone is ok thats reading and stay safe in the awful weather.0 -

Thanks PLMBL.
Photos have been taken, so will list this evening.0 -
3 items listed on ebay, have 2 more to do but they are only 99p items so will do those during the week.
Fingers crossed they sell, want to get Tesco card under 7k by the new year so I'm starting 2014 in the 6s and hopefully total debt starts with an 18.0 -
Good morning, hope evryone is ok and peeps down south are keeping safe with the nasty weather, think we have got off lightly up north for a change.
Plans for today are to stay home, fire is raring away and I have a pan of tomato and lentil soup cooking on the stove, have some plums looking past there best so may turn them into a crumble.
Have 1 bid on items listed on ebay, fingers crossed they all sell.
No other money news, today will be a NSD.0 -
Mmm soup sounds lovely, we had a roasted tomato soup last week and it lasted for 3 days!
Hope the ebay sales go well and have a lovely cosy day.

Plans for today are to watch movies, eat soup and do a few jobs around the house. DS is up but in his PJ's and DD is still in bed, so looks as though they don't want to go out anywhere either.0 -
Currently sat with DS watching cloudy with a chance of meatballs, so have sneaked on here.
Have done a few onepoll surveys, and nectar adpoints.
Checked online banking and I had a whole £1.53 in account, that's now down to 3p as I have just overpaid £1.50 to Tesco CC, only a tiny payment but hopefully they will add up.
Done a little more decorating and still have some woodwork to finish, may do that shortly.
Also going to make some museli flapjack found the recipe in a Mary Berry cookbook o should come out ok.
Pork steaks for tea with apple sauce, no idea what else to have with them, maybe rst pots and veg.
Off to finish ironing, then that can all be put away.0 -
