Hi PBS, pop in anytime.
Suffering this morning, invited friends round last night for a girly night, as none of us could afford to go out, everyone brought a bottle or 2:D, I made some snacks and it was a fantastic night, but i'm really paying for it today.
No change on the money front, still plodding through the surveys, but i'm not near payout on the high payers:(.
Rst chicken, rst pots and veg for tea, need to do some baking but not peeling up to it at the minute, probably a job for tomorrow.0 -

Afternoon.
Got up early this morning, went through cupboards and freezer and made a meal plan to last until Friday when I get paid, Had £5 in my purse and £4 clubcard voucher.
So I went to Tesco and shopping for next couple of days came to £8.02 used £4 in clubcard vouchers and £4.02 in cold hard cash, which i'm pleased with. I will have a few more pounds hitting bank account when 2 items sell later on ebay, so this will cover any more bread/milk we need.
Todays menu has been-
Breakfast - toast/crumpets
Lunch _ HM tomato and lentil soup with bread rolls and Yoghurt for pud.
snack - tortilla chips and dips
Tea tonight - chicken and mushroom pasta bake and HM rhubarb crumble and custard.
Have also baked some biscuits to snack on during BGT.0 -
Aww sorry to hear how you feel. My OH has moments exactly like your OH....we had a 'Why can't we book a holiday like everybody else we know??' moment not so long ago. Perhaps OH feels a bit frustrated at the moment??
I would never be sorry for having a moan. Keep your chin up you are doing great and your meal plans always look delish. xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Thanks Alice, guess I just get frustrated, I the past I would of always given in, which is partly why we have so much debt. Just wish OH could see it that way and not brand me as the big bad wolf spoiling everyone's fun.0

Penny my current boyfriends the same, 8am this morning he goes to the cash machine and complains that 'the bank is being stupid and won't let me take more than £10 out' when I look over his shoulder he has all of £30 left in the bank so I presume he's a payment to come out. By 10am hes asking me to pick him up when I finish work so we can go to the cinema! Well I can't afford to go out for the evening so I didn't bother replying and have come straight home from work.
But I'll be the spoil sport for leaving him in his room being skint, when he expected me to pick him up, drive to the cinema, probably pay for the tickets on my credit card then magic up some tea - and it can't be something like the pasta and tinned tomatos I'd have he *has* to have meat in it or its just not worth eating.
I have no idea how hes going to survive if he gets redundancy since he earns roughly double my salary and has less than half the outgoings yet is still skint by the middle of every month. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
