Obviously they are not in my garden :rotfl: (although my garden is 120ft long so we would manage and it would certainly keep the grass down:rotfl:
We have some land in the village which we keep our animals on - in addition to them we have 2 ducks, 14 geese, about 20 turkeys plus some chicks & 2 goats (the lambs went off for slaughter the other week!!)
Glad your Dh and his mum have experience of chickens - it makes it so much easier.
When they have settled in give them some cooked spaghetti - they run around thinking they have found a worm :rotfl:0 -

Morning, not much to update really.
Child ben has gone in this morning and I've received £3 from mysurv£y, have paid £50 off N£XT.
Need to get a birthday present for FIL, thinking around £25/£30 spend, also going to put £10 petrol in the car.
Spag bol for tea tonight, need to nip to Tesco for some cheese.
Load of junk mail came through the door yesterday, one was a morrisons leaflet with a voucher for £5 off £40 spend, so will have a trip to the seaside at halfterm with the kids as I know that town has a morrisons and will use it then.
Hope everyone is well, have a good day.0 -
MOrning, the weather is beautiful here, lets hope it continues.
Spends yesterday were £10 on petrol, £7.50 on part of FIL present and £22.79 in sainsbugs.
Have around £45 left until payday a week on Friday  seems ages away, still need to get rest of FIL present, half term next week, so will be using up food from the cupboards to keep grocery costs down, baking instead of buying treats. won't need as much petrol as I won't be using the car everyday:).
Have checked online banking and all bills have been paid for this month, so can now start working out next months budget, scary to think we are nearly half way through the year:eek:.
Off to get ready for work, have a good day.0 -
Morning Pennywise
The chickens sound like fun, even better if you get DH and the kids to look after them!

Hi guys, yes its half term woo hooo. shame I have to share it with the demonic son, he's being pure evil at the moment, arguing with me, being cheeky, answering back and just being plain horrible, at my wits end with him. I'm at the point of taking things away as punishment.
On the money front, I've spent £25 at sainsbugs today I hope it does us until Friday, will have to I've no money left. Received another £4 in Tesco clubcard vouchers and withdrawn £3 from mysurv£y.
Hope everyone has a good bank holiday weekend.0 -
Have listed 2 items on ebay, only low value things but every penny helps.0

I really need to do some ebay listings, now I've decided I am going to move I have so much stuff to get rid of its scary. Tempted to stick a listing up for 'contents of flat except furnishings' just to get it all done with lol. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
