    Have you tired it yet?

I loved mine but literally the day after warranty ran out the battery wouldn't last longer than a few minutes

I couldn't use it under my arms though, holy hell it was so painful I cried :o

    My tips are...

Do a small area at a time.
    Pull skin tight.
Try not to use on hair that too long because it hurts more.
    Exfoliate well afterwards.
Even though it might hurt the first time if you keep at it then it does get a lot better.

Even though I loved mine I got terrible in growing hairs and no matter how much exfoliating and moisturising I done it never helped :( but I loved the smooth feeling that lasted a few weeks.
Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.

I bought mine with Boots points, a couple of years ago, and I've used it ... a couple of times. :o

My legs don't come out very often, and if I want to use it, I end up using the shaver attachment and then epilating (it shaves fairly long, IYSWIM). But it takes a long time ... I know I'd get faster with practice / regular use.

However I prefer to go for an underarm wax when I get my hair cut - I used to use a salon which did both, but I'm now at a different salon which doesn't, however there's a new beauty salon just over the road, with a lovely cafe in between. ;) Had a wax - underarm and half leg - on Thursday, haircut today, and just made my next appointment at each for the same time, 8 weeks hence.

Mind you there's a patch she missed on one leg, so maybe I should get the epilator out and attack that?

The thing is though, even if I did get used to it, I might still prefer to go for waxes, because if it's down to me I won't have time or I won't get round to it, whereas if I've made an appointment, it WILL happen. Does that make sense?

I bought one, used it on a square on my leg approximately 1 inch across and gave it away! Horrific torturous things, ill stick to shaving.

:o Well I had food, a hot shower, a couple of glasses of wine and...

fell asleep on me sofa! :rotfl:I am rubbish!

I can however report that I did do me legs this morning :p

Firstly the noise! that's enough to put anyone off  The ankles are a major ouch! but the rest of my legs not toooo bad i guess, feels like a million pin pricks and very tingly, so I think I'll be ok in that area. I did then just touch my underarm and ohnonononono! I definately need to get braver and woman up for doing there and as for the bikini line... Pass me the aenesthetic !:rotfl:

It has a massage attatchment but that doesnt stay on? not sure if i'm missing something but the instructions are next to useless so i'll google that later.

Thanks for all your inputs and horror stories - it's been a giggle reading them!

So ladies... Who is now going to take up that challenge and fetch that epilator out from the back of the drawer??! :D

I've not done it myself ...it would probally be way to time consuming but an epliator is nothing but mutiple pluckers.

In the more 'sensetive' areas you could just start plucking and then build up to the epliator?

I have one but have never attempted anything but my legs tbh and its been in a box somewhere for god knows how long :D

Can you do large patches at a time? How quick does it take effect and is it permanent? And how much did it cost?
