Feelie - you don't need anyone to tell you that you need to talk to someone about how you are feeling. What did the psych nurse say about coming off the meds and withdrawal symptoms?
r.mac - the post office will cover you up to 8 weeks before you are due - http://www.postoffice.co.uk/portal/po/content1?catId=19300208&mediaId=73900735#43200277please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Sarahsaver - well done you! I know Krystaltips has offered too but if I can give you any breastfeeding tips then just send me a message. I breastfed all of my three and I'm now mentoring my little sister and her baby (August 17th to now, no formula!).
Feelinggood - Awww love *hugs* I know you're dealing with this as best you can but I just wanted to reassure you about having your baby taken away from you. I work for an independant social services organisation so I'm fairly up to speed on what's hot and what's not. These days, they won't just take the baby away because you're showing signs of being unable to cope. They'll lambast you with loads of support and probably get external agencies like Sure Start (brilliant organisation, staffed mainly by volunteers who have children of their own) involved to give you practical support and advice. Does your midwifery team include a mental health specialist? It could be worth speaking to your consultant to see what they can offer. Give yourself more credit! You've come off strong medication (I'm assuming with immediate effect rather than weaning?) which is hard work in itself without dealing with marriage woes, unsupportive husbands and baby drama too.
You can and will get through this.0 -

As far as I'm aware it's 40 weeks...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Just wanted to say thank you for all your support yesterday.
Just back from EPU - everything seems fine. Baby is 62mm now, a whole 10mm bigger in 6 days! Strong heartbeat, and he was upside down again. No signs of anything wrong.
Had to have an anti-d injection. Got proper scan appointment on Tuesday and Consultant appointment in early December.
Hope everyone is well today.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
Well I'm feeling very very tired today - I have a hosp appointment this afternoon for the colposcopy dept or however you spell it... this is all due to my smear results that I got back like the day before I took the pregnancy test
They only had minor minor not totally abnormal but not entirely normal cells but they refer everything now - so hopefully it shouldn't be anything major - they're not going to be allowed to do any poking if it disturbs bean but I figured I should go along anyway
still the drive there and back will be hard work... and the longest drive I've done since first ending up in hospital

Hi guys!
Had my 6 week scan at EPU yesterday and they said everything looked fine but thought I was only 5wks which has been playing on my mind since leaving as I'm scared that bubba is not growing now as we had only bd 3 times before i got pg I know that its very unlikely that I'm less than 5 +4.
I saw the heartbeat - well a blue blob flashing on the screen.
also said that my ovaries look like a picture from a textbook - which I took as a complement
had to get up at 6am today to take hubby to work as probs with his van, have felt as sick as a dog since the moment I stepped back though the door, I had a nap and felt better for about 10 mins then it was back_pale_. anywhoo I'm off to visit my friend and her new bubba :T hope everyone is ok x0 -

sami bee congrats on your lovely ovaries!
they saw a cyst on mine and so i said 'what now' they said we'll just leave it  wish they hadnt said!!!
reading this thread its clear how worrying being pg is, i know its too easy to say dont worry, so i won't cos its normal to do so, but worrying will not make any positive difference.
Also if you dont worry now it will be when you have the baby, or at any stage of your childs development! Parenting eh;)
I didnt cry when i first saw Florence but my eyes welled up when they said shes got slight talipes (wonky foot) in her left foot, but it looks like it will right itself
btw dunno who recommended it but the free nct magazine and dvd is v useful and informative, get it if you haven't;)Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:
