Labour for me, was absolutely horrific, and that was even with a friend, whose a midwife, delivering him..... i didnt have any complications, it was just very fast and very intense, and VERY painful for me. I never imagined i'd be so affected, but he is worth it.

Angel fairy, you're due on DD birthday!

Typical conversation I've with two of my friends today:

'Are you ok? you look a bit peaky...'
'I'm not feeling very well actually... bit sick... stomach bug or something...'
'Are you pregnant?!'

Looks like the cats slipping out of the bag... I really can't lie!

Awww, congratulations lola!!! You look fab! Hope you are both well. I'm getting all flashbacks from when I had Poppy (although no camera was allowed near me until the day after! :rotfl: ).

Hi all, had my 12 week scan, now have a edd of 22nd March, could someone please hlp with adding me to the list as I am having problems!!
So today I am 13+4 and still feeling very sick and tired, fingers crossed it will pass very soon!!

well to be honest i am not 100% sure if I am due on 13 or 14 March.

when i first told the doc and gave him my dates etc, he said 14 March. when i went to th midwife and did the same she told me 13 march (which freaked me out because i do not like friday the 13th AT all). when i had my 12 week scan, the sonographer said 'your dates haven't changed', but on the screen it said 14 march, but the she didn't change my card or notes.

so now, i say 13 or 14 march (secretly hoping is just not 13 march), and please do not be offended because it's your DD's birthday, it's just the friday the 13th that SCARES me

I would definitely add my endorsement to Peacocks, and they also do maternity nightwear and nursing bras. I've bought most of my wardrobe from ebay though and have got so much great stuff for a fairly small amount of money - particulary great for me as I'm only 5ft tall and can't easily buy trousers from a lot of the high st maternity stores.

I'm a bit miserable today because I've been having discomfort and pain in my lower pelvis and the doctor has said it's SPD and told me to speak to my midwife about physio. Does anyone have any tips for making it more bearable?

Baby came early on the 16th! gorgeous baby boy-Elliot William John! so much for being induced! sorry only quick post...b-feeding loads....lol.....

ps-he weighed 6 lb 8oz! ill try my best to add a photo when i get chance.

Quick labour, waters broke at 11:45 on monday night and by 4:27am he was born. Totally shocked everyone with how quick he came and i did it all on just gas and air! got three 2nd degree tears-but its all been worth it! x x
