  • Angelfairy aren't you due around the same time as me? (7 march)

If so i think its a stage we're both going through, I have felt miserable and sorry for myself the past few days. i think its because I felt better after 12 weeks in my last pregnancy but this time I am 14 + 3 and I still feel crappity.

Never mind I keep telling myself I will wake up tomorrow and be blooming!

OMG - sorry, this is turning into an epic! Just one other thing...(TMI alert)

I am SO horny :o after the first 13 weeks of me being too tired to even THINK about s e x I have suddenly found a drive which is almost as high as when we were TTC :D
I know it was supposed to be our last couples holiday but.....words fail me (respectable ones do anyway!)

    I'll shut up now :o[/quote]"

MFD - know what you mean! I'm just now starting to feel less tired and sicky, and now my sex drive has gone way up too! (sorry if its TMI)

  • ok sins -- a few shandys whilst in the pub
-- nuts, although I'm not sure why these need to be avoided
-- and this saturaday I'm going to a Japanese restaurant and will more than likely have prawns and a glass of vino

haha does that make you feel any better??
I feel guilty now! I'll let the other half change the cat litter to make myself feel better :)
  • Lol Polly, I changed the cat litter the morning I found out... But now it is completely OH domain....

  • Wow, ladies, I played everything by the book with Poppy! :D I remember DH forgetting and bringing me a McFlurry home one night and it went straight in the bin!. I only had a handful of extremely guilty alcoholic drinks during the entire preg as my conscience wouldn't let me....and neither would DH! :rotfl: .

This time I have already had a few glasses of wine, managed to get DH to buy me a brie baguette without him realising and also confess to secretly eating peanut M&M's in bed and hiding the wrappers! :rotfl:  .

Something to do with bacteria! Don't worry, your MW will be sure to drum into you what you can or can't have (as well as all the books and magazines that you won't be able to resist buying! :D ).

I think the McFlurry thing is listeria - something like the machine isn't properly cleaned so could contain listeria? You're not meant to have soft whip ice cream either, but I decided the risk from that was minimal so have done.
  • I think its something to do with soft icecream being made from unpasteurised egg white... I completely avoided everything recommended the first time round although I can remember craving a snickers bar from about 20 weeks... I don't even like peanuts!!

So far I've avoided the cyto's as much as poss, do immunosuppresents need to be avoided too? LOL our HR is the same with risk assesments - I'll have to wait months!!
i'm not sure about that, all the immunos that i work with with come pre packed so it's safe to handle the boxes.
the methotrexate comes loose in tubs so i don't handle them at all.
