I am off for my 12 weeks scan (I am 12+4 today) at 12.00 pm today.
Scared, nervous, excited, anxious - all feelings going through me at the moment. I was really teary last night about it. Silly I know, but I am just having all these emotions and for someone who is a highly emotional person anyway, being pregnant can take it to a whole new level sometimes.
I'm off for my 12 week scan today too, and i feel just the same!

Good luck with yours
Oh, good luck with yours too Millie's Mum.
Nice to hear that you are feeling the same as me, and it is not just me going mad. Although saying that if it means we are both going mad, then it will be nice to have some company!!!
Hope your baby gives a you a clear pic!!!0 -
Cazscoob sorry don't know what to say about the runs as I have had let's say a more efficient digestion since being PG  I think its just possibly your body getting rid of things it doesn't need as quickly as poss. Just make sure you drink plenty of water and try ginger or ginger tea for the sickness.
I got the giggles at my scan :eek:Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

hi cazscoob
I'm now 19wk+ and it still doesn't feel real to me. My bump is progressing, but it's not very big yet, I'm hoping that when that gets noticable I'll feel more pregnant. so far I've just felt ill!
Little bump moves around which I'm starting to feel and again I think when the real big kicks start later on then it'll be a bit more real.
Hubbie and I are off to look at prams on sunday - I'm sure that'll helpr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
I'm 16+6 and have only bought 1 baby gro and a bottle steriliser so far and got a baby monitor courtesy of a lovely DFW buddy. Mum reckons I should be test driving prams by now but I just get overwhelmed by the choice - and the cost:eek: . Any reviews i've read seem to contradict each other so that hasn't helped...
Feeling a bit glum as I think I'm going to have to take my wedding and engagement rings off as my fingers are a bit puffy. Seems a silly thing to get down about but i hate even taking them off for the washing up so 6 months without them seem unbearable:o26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Hello ladies, do you mind if I join in?!
I found out yesterday that I'm expecting!
I already have 2 children, my son is 12 and my daughter is 10 and seeing as it's been so long since I had my daughter, I've forgotten everything relating to pregnancy and babies, so I'm glad this thread is here so I can ask for some help [STRIKE]every 5 minutes[/STRIKE] if I need it
I've got my 1st hospital appointment on the 10th October (day after we get home from holiday, hooray! lol)....what will happen there? I'll only be 10 weeks gone, so too early for a scan I guess?

My first hosp appt. was at 10 weeks, and I got the first scan, blood and 1000 questions!! Next one is 20 weeks on 22nd Sept - i'm so excited. Not sure if all hospitals work with the same plan, but it could be you first chance to see little bean.
Mine is No.3 too, others are son 11 and daughter 7 (almost 8) - and this pregnancy all feels new to me, so i know how you're feeling.
I woke up this morning for my 4am wee, and as I got back into bed it suddenly dawned on me that i'm having a baby    . Then i was lying awake wondering if i can cope with sleepless nights, feeding, and generally having a baby again. Oh well, its only taken 17 weeks to sink in!:beer:0
