I'm sick as a dog and was with DS too.
I got the bounty pack from the midwife and along with the voucher for the mum to be pack which was to be collected from Asda, there was a little voucher in there for a huggies newborn starter kit, it's got a pack of newborn nappies, pack of wipes and pair of disney socks in it, how sweet!
I registered online with emaas diary, so will more than likely get a pack voucher through, i'll collect it as llyods is next to my local pet shop where i go anyway.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
:rotfl:Did I forget to mention that its all OW's Tales?!
.
With Poppy we still kept everything neutral such as the nursery and the pram 'just in case'! And its just as well really due to her getting a brother this time!.
We're having a relaxing day today as last Sunday it was Poppy's christening and the Sunday before it was my nephew's. And its DH's turn to get up with Poppy! :T.

Lol I know it's all old wives tales, but the sick for a girl and not a boy has been true with my circle of friends, and my Doc did once say peeps got sicker with girls.
we don't care what she's having as long as it's healthy:D

Does anyone know if Emma's diary packs and Bounty packs are the same thing??
The MW said they are but the Emma's pack is only available from Lloyds Pharmacies and I thought Bounty was at Boots and Mothercare?:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

I usually buy Freya bras off ebay, i tried on the same bras in Dbenhams so I know what size fitted then just bought the same style and size off ebay.
Cat really wear them now though as they are way too small already, I'm only 6 weeks! :rotfl:
I just had some crackhead come up to me and ask me if I'd had a boob job :j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

Good Idea, while I was trawling the web this afternoon I came across www.figleavesclearance.co.uk it has clearance maternity and nursing bras but only in certain sizes so is a bit hit n miss but def worth a look, especially if you can find a figleaves code online to make 'em even cheaper. :T :T0 -
Hi Spikey
I would say that was an alright price and good variety of packages. I had a private scan at almost 10 wks for peace of mind and it cost about £80-90. It was a 2-D scan and took about 1/2 an hour. The picture quality is better than the NHS and you don't feel so rushed.
We aren't going to find out the sex of little bump so aren't bothering with a 4-d scan, but having seen pictures of other peoples, I believe its an amazing experience.
HTHr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0
