Hi everyone, just had a positive test tonight and I am so happy. Dont know about you guys but I hate being pregnant and I just want the baby.
My first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage and I was completely heart broken. Even though I now have a wonderful 2 year old, I worried throughout the whole nine months. I thought after each milestone, I would feel less nervous but I did not enjoy the pregnancy at all. Its gonna be a long nine months. Arhhh.0 -

Hi all, does anyone know if Mothercare still do the layaway thing.
Where you place an order, then pay it off bit by bit before you get the goods?:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
Congratulations clueless x x x
I feel the same too - but hoping I will relax a bit after first scan next week.
I had a miscarrige at 6 weeks then my now almost 2 year old son and a miscarriage at 10 weeks earlier this year.0 -
Astons mummy: Mothercare def still do the layaway thing, I read about it yesterday in the new catalouge they posted.
I think its a fab idea but is too late as i went shopping mad and bought my Pram etc after findind out I'm having a boy (midnite blue quinny buzz,):j :j :j Yay!!
Does anyone know if Emma's diary packs and Bounty packs are the same thing??
The MW said they are but the Emma's pack is only available from Lloyds Pharmacies and I thought Bounty was at Boots and Mothercare?0 -
DDwas 10 weeks yesterday by the date of her last period.what date have they given you now hun?
she's only having her scan and booking in 2 weeks today, very late imo for booking in, but that's how they do it in my area
Date of the first day of my last cycle was 17th june, so that put us at 23rd March...
Seems like your DD and I are side by side on our timings:rotfl:
I've got to wait for a letter to come through about our scan and bloods and then we dont go back to see MW till 16th Oct... so will be 16 weeks when I next see MW, which to me seems like ages.Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

I got awhat says a bounty pack from MW on friday which had (apparently!) lots of freebies to sign up for, and then she gave me emmas diary in it as well.
Did have a leaflet about getting a bumper pack from Lloyds, which you get free when you take the care in, but we dont have one anywhere near us! So gonna have to see where I might posibly go at some point to visit a Lloyds...Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

Definately NOT the same! I have collected two Emma's Diaries last year and this and tbh they have not been worth the trip! Just full of leaflets really but I have a Lloyds locally so of course felt the need to collect it!You can register online to receive a coupon but some MW's also hand the ED booklets out which have the vouchers in.
Bounty packs are completely different and fab! :T. Register with them online and you will be sent a voucher to collect your Mum to be Bag. Also, your MW should give you a blue and white Bounty wallet at your booking-in and inside will be a voucher for the same bag (so you can get two!). I'm pretty sure you collect at Asda or Boots but definately collect at Asda as there will be money off coupons inside too.

Hi and Congrats to all the newbies! Welcome to the thread x
Clueless1, I have felt much better this preg and alot calmer. My first preg also resulted in m/c and I was a nervous wreck with Poppy until I had my beautiful daughter placed safely in my arms!. After the 12w scan with 'my son' I completely relaxed and am enjoying it this time around (probably alot to do with no morning sickness - yipeee! :rotfl:).
