Congrats to those who have recently given birth.

Congrats to those who have recently discovered they are pregnant.

My baby is overdue!!! :rolleyes: Am desperate to have it now.

Just make sure you get plenty of sleep while you can. With my firstborn I foolishly stayed up until 3am on my due-date, and my waters broke at 6am:eek: . Baby was born at 3am the following morning. Needless to say, I wished later that I'd gone to bed at a sensible time.

Number of scans is different everywhere in Scotland. We had two in Stirling district, but a lady my OH works with only gets one in Wishaw.

my sickness kicked in at 5 weeks and now at 7 weeks I feel dreadful all the time. Glad I have been off work this week otherwise I think people at work would have guessed!!

Okay, feeling a bit more organised now...got my booking in appointment sorted so we are to visit the surgery for an appointment with the midwife on 22.09.08. I was told when I rang that they don't do the booking in until 8 weeks into the pregnancy so got a few more weeks to wait until it starts to feel 'real'!!!!!!!!!

I'm struggling tonight to be honest....I'm sat here typing this and I really feel that my eyes are struggling to keep open! I didn't realise that I would feel like this so early on!!!!!! Think I'd better go and get myself in the bath before I slump over the keyboard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel incredibly tired all the time too!! I dont remember feeling this tired this early on before. I feel ready for bed before the kids!!

Hi All

Had our booking in appointment this morning, lasted about an hour.

MW was quite nice although DH said he felt a bit judged when she asked us about what contraception we'd been using. Had said we werent actively trying, but were happy for it to happen and she did go into a bit of a tirade... must admit I kinda just thought she was being funny as in HA HA but DH thinks he as judged... sensitive little flower that he is.

Dont feel like we had that much information about whats going on right now, tit bits of info on where to give birth, breastfeeding etc.

But we're now waiting to get a letter to go in for our scan and blood tests and then Im due back at the MW on the 16th Oct... which seems like ages to go through any results and see where we are then.

Did just have a bit of a scare in the bathroom though and sorry if this is TMI but thought I saw the startings of some blood.... sat there for a while and did about 5 checks and seems ok now, so maybe my mind playing tricks on me.

Am officially 10 weeks today, and our due date has now been changed so I'll update the list shortly...

SUPERJULES

Just moved myself up from 24 Sept to 15 as having planned c section- I have too much water and baby is on the big side maybe over 10lb (a girl). Can't wait now as have that PUPPS rash so not sleeping at night.

DDwas 10 weeks yesterday by the date of her last period.what date have they given you now hun? she's only having her scan and booking in 2 weeks today, very late imo for booking in, but that's how they do it in my area :rolleyes:
