Everything aches! It's really quite impressive! I also appear to be gestating a right little rocker! If I put some nice heavy music on while she's awake I swear she dances! In fact when I had to turn the music off yesterday because the phone rang I received quite a kick! We have visions of her being the first baby to have Rammstein as a lullaby! :eek:

I get that too! My veins hide! I did find however due to the magic of pregnancy, and some really good plebotomists and they found the right bit of my arm really quickly and no bruising!

I do like the name too but hubby wont entertain it as a name for a boy. At the moment we just keep throwing around girls names. Not even contemplating at this point the baby could be a boy.

We would be more than happy whichever it is, but for some reason, we have just automatically been steering towards a girl.

Oh dear, not much sleep as baby was doing the fandango in my belly due to the ridiculous amount of Haribo I ate last night! :rotfl:. Warning - move away from the Asda aisle that currently has them on offer for 50p! . Poppy is lucky that its a Nanna day today .

just back from the scan was 14+3 so about 9 days further on than i thought lol!! everything looked fine but baby wasnt playing and would not lie still for the measurements. we got a good look however the pic is not the best???
have 2 arms that have been attacked as my veins were not fit for taking blood?? so back in a few weeks and fingers crossed we can see what sex it is (fingers crossed its a boy as we have all charlies newborn things and would not have to buy anything!!)

We have got a MaxiCosi car seat to go with our Quinny for when our little one arrives, but we haven't bought the base to go with it.

Is it really that much more difficult to get the car seat in without the base, only they are really quite expensive, almost as much as the car seat itself?!

Hey pollyanna-we looked at bases for our car seat, but decided it wasnt worth it. They grow out of the car seats so quickly-and will then need a bigger car seat! Its just a case of putting the seatbelt on properly-you can ask some shops to show you how to do this properly ie mothercare, halfords etc.
