Pollyanna, we put ds1 in my dh name (before we were married) as we always planned to get married at some point in the future....I don't think we even had to fill out any forms, they just wrote it on the birth certificate.

God all of a sudden over the last few days, my appetite has become very strange....I feel bloated all the time and can not manage a large meal at all, we went to subway the other day and I couldn't even finish my 6". We had both ordered foot longs too!!!!! I wonder if this is because my uterus has risen, I am 10+6, but I don't really remember this with my other two pg's???

for the first 4-5 months of my first pregnancy I couldn't eat full meals, maybe thats why i only weighed 3lb heavier at 8 months pregnant than I did before hand?!
I'm struggling to eat this time aswell, just feel queesy and like I am already full up.

All areas are different, in my area I had to pick up an 'early pregnancy pack' from the docs surgery then phone the hospital and book the midwife appointment myself.

jakesmummy and astonsmummy- i'm on my third, and i'm more paranoid with this one!
I don't think it helps that antenatal has changed so much since my last one (she's 7). After confirming it with docs at 5 weeks, i've had 10 wk scan, booked in for 20 week scan, booked in for Anti-D jab at 28 weeks and then midwife at 34 weeks. With DS (11) and DD, it was at least every 4 weeks with midwife, then every two after 20 wk scan.
I did go to Midwife drop in today at my docs though - with a list of questions!! (Really it was just so I could hear the reassuring heartbeat!!)

astonsmummy - At 15 weeks, i'm really hungry, enjoy the cooking part but then can't eat more than a couple of mouthfuls before i'm full and/or queasy!!
I think i've been like this since about 8 weeks when i'm guessing my insides shifted about to make space for baby.

r.mac - i think everyones bumps are different.
With DS, i was showing at 3 months. On holiday a Turkish lifeguard told me i couldn't use the water slide as i was 'poorly', pointing at my tummy! And there was me thinking i looked ok in my bikini! Then I went big all over until i looked close to exploding at 38 weeks.
DD I didn't need maternity clothes at all - just in normal clothes one size bigger at 38 weeks.
Now with No.3 cooking, i'm 15+weeks and have already been offered a seat on the train, and I was asked if I was expecting before the schools broke up for summer (so approx 10 weeks!)

This is making me think No.3 is a boy - does anyone else agree with this theory?

Morning peeps!
I was looking online lat night and I think I'm due mid April, seems sooooooo far away lol I reckon though that because I've got a son already and I work this time will seem alot quicker.
WHat other websites does everyone use?

hi all,

just to let you know i was sent my scan dates yesterday. My first scan is on 2 Sept (and it told me there was no need to come with a full bladder). Bloods will also have to be taken as I am having the downs syndrome screening. I am dreading the blood part as it is very difficult to get blood from me!!!!

I was also sent the date for my 20 week scan which is 22 October.

Starting to get very very real now!!!!!!

Welcome to the newbies and hope everyone is well

You'll have to get used to blood tests lol-ive have several taken for various things including the downs, and later on to check iron levels etc.

i really dont mind having to have a blood test, is just the fact that it is always a struggle to get blood from me. i end up with two bruised arms and look like i am quite partial to an Amy Winehouse lifestyle
