Mine is now 7 months old I can't believe all the time has gone!! I want another now and we are going to start trying at the end of the year as it took an age to get this one seeing as I am not supposed to be able to have kids! Hope to be back on here in the new year :-)

What I meant by dating scan, is when you have no idea when your LMP is.

All dating scans are now done at around the 12wk mark (going by LMP) If you don't know your dates then the doctor or midwife would usually arrange for one straight away, usually takes about 1-2 weeks though (dep on area)

Good morning everyone! Hope we are all well!


Hubby and I have been looking for a last 'couples' holiday for a while now, trying to fit it in between scans and appointments and making sure hubbys business will okay whilst we are away. I didn't want to book anything before the scan and knowing everything is okay...so the long and the short of it is yesterday hubby booked us flights to Vegas for a fortnight!


So 100 degrees + in vegas followed by a night in death valley :eek: and a visit to napa valley where I can't even taste the produce :rolleyes: anyone get the feeling that this holiday is my husbands choice


One thing that I am pleased about is cheap maternity clothes shopping :T I won't end up wearing the same as every other pregnant lady and even with the exchange rate not being as good as it was it is still a lot cheaper over there than it is here!


Did we establish whether AM was joining us :cool:

You lucky thing going to Vagas.

We've had to put our usual trip back home for me off this year and will now wait until we can take 'oscar' with us (scarey thought).

We both need to use up some holidays and will need to look at booking something too. Never done the Spain/Portugal thing as it is not really my or hubbie's cup of tea. We have never had a hoilday just the two of us somewhere both of us has never been.

Gotta love the bright lights that Vagas has to offer. Might not help i have been catching Oceans 13 on Sky hehehe

MFD, you will absolutely love Viva Las Vegas! (my DH booked for us to go after my m/c).

A week was enough for me though .

When are you off? My friends are all there at the min for a 30th and I'm soooo very jealous! :rolleyes:.
