Hi all
As the title says really, I'm looking to know if anyone pregnant with twins and had an amnio test? What was involved (eg two needles?) and what the overall thoughts on it were. I would appreciate understanding other people's experiences.

Hiya guys well baby no 4 arrived 11 days early on Wednesday 6th August, a little girl Madison weighing 6lb 4oz, it was a quick labour of 45 minutes after having a stretch and sweep as my waters broke the previous day and Madison is doing fine

Apricots have worked Hoo-blooming-ray!

I'm still spotting but have had no cramps or pains at all since Thursday night. Am kinda assuming this is a good thing, and I could just be one of those women who bleed all the way through.. only Tuesday will tell.

After being in the house since having the Anti D jab on Tues night, I dragged myself off the sofa, had a very long shower, gave myself a good talking to (along the lines of "worrying won't change anything") and got myself in a save-for-public-viewing condition. Feel soooo much better for it and it's nice to have my curls back (have been scrapping my hair back for days) :j

am on the lookout for a twin pram and wondering if anyone has any advice, for my first 2 i had a cossatto side by side which i hated and couldnt move with it. the pram will be for a newborn and a 12/13 months old, have looked at the phil and teds as by te time DS is walking i would still be able to use it as a normal pram. they are quite pricey too. also looked at the jane but am put off with the thought of being stuck with a pram for 2 when one will want to walk??? HELP

Hello all

Haven't been back to the board for a week as had some spotting and went in for a scan last Tue and they couldn't find a heartbeat and the egg sac was measuring what it would be for a pregnancy 5 weeks along - I have to go back tomorrow for a further scan to see if the pregnancy has moved along but I know that it has ended (the pregnancy would have been 8 weeks along last week and 9 weeks this week so know in my heart that it isn't possible for it still to be viable)
Would have had my positive pregnancy test 3-4 weeks before I'd concieved and that just isn't credible!

I've been in this exact situ before with my first pregnancy and they did a d&c immediately as I'd had an earlier scan which had confirmed a heartbeat and therefore they knew the pregnancy had ended but this time it seems I need to wait so hoping they will fit me in for a d&c very shortly as I still have all the symptoms morning sickness etc..

Feel pretty gutted but as I said been here before - just wanted to say good luck to you all with your babies and hopefully may be back to the board with happier news next time x

I might be in the same situation.. second scan is on Tuesday.

I sway between feeling positive to then just accepting what feels like the inevitable but worrying won't change anything so now I've moved on to trying not to think about it. I guess when you've been there before it's hard to think it could be anything else.

Take care of yourself xx (I don't want to say goodbye / good luck for next time as I'm still holding out hope)

So sorry to hear your news galvanizersbaby, words just aren't enough at times likes these so sending you a big hug instead. I never got as far as a scan last time as was I spotting then it got worse and knew I'd lost the baby at 11wks. Still had to go through a d&c though. Thinking of you, take care of yourself xx
