I appreciate you may wanted to have gone back into work (I probably would to) but you will be so much better of for the rest.

Hope noone minds just adding myself into the list.

Have been feeling so rotten for the past week. I dont think jet lag helped(came back from nyc on sunday) and then had to go to work on the monday. Think I might have morning sickness which lasts all the live long day. Havent actually been sick but just feel on the edge all the time. TMI?:rotfl:
Have found that I generally feel a little bit better after something to eat but of course never feel like eating. Have been ok with fluids though so thats something.
Have doctors next wednesday to go over everything and be put forward for ante-natal care package, as was a bit ARGH when we went last time so he said to take a week or so. Still early days, only 6 weeks.....
Feeling very tired and de-motivated, doesnt help having noone to call in sick to with my job so having to smile through it. Just had 2 days off though which i think has helped.....

Any suggestions on the sickness/demotivation greatly appreciated?!:rolleyes:

CAF I had horrible sickness and to be honest I tried everything, even a course of accupuncture. Nothing really helped, eating all the time took the edge off it for a few seconds Time was the only thing that sorted it out for me, at 13 weeks it just went. I have never got through the tiredness though, I am still exhausted day and night, I sleep a lot during the day when I can but feel pretty demotivated and ugh all day long. I do take iron and a pregnancy multivitamin daily which help a bit, going back to the sickness I found that if I took my vitamin in the morning I felt really sick right away, so switched to taking it before bed and that helped a little.

Thanks for your advice. I too found taking my vitamin in the morning made me feel like hell all day, so I've started taking it in the evening when im trying to have something resembling a meal, because if I feel bad afterward at least i can crawl into bed.

I'll be a quivering wreck if I have to wait till 13 weeks for this feeling to be over! LOL

DD's got her date for first antenatal visit and scan on the same day, at 12 weeks:eek: It seems soooo late to me, but I realise it's the new system.She's feeling sick, but eating everything in sight too:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: and is worried about getting fat:rolleyes:

In keeping with my latest theme of TMI threads... the lovely topic of constipation

I think my recent sedentry (don't know if that's spelt right, but I mean sitting on my bum for a week!) lifestyle has slowed me down in more ways than one. I've been drinking pure orange juice and eating grapes like they're going out of fashion but to no avail. Might a walk down the road and back help?

Hi guys

Just popped in quickly to see how everyone is doing.

Have you thought of a name yet SB? We haven't got a clue what to call the new baby yet. I think we outdid ourselves when Rowan arrived. So if you get any good ideas about boys names - please share cos at the moment the only names we can come up with are Oscar (OH's idea) - reminds me of Sessame Street and Oliver (my idea) but OH says is too common.

I have just been diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes - so my fingers now look like swiss cheese with all the holes I have had to punch into them. Has anyone else been through this at all. I must admit that I have scared myself by googling it and reading all the worst case scenarios (sometimes google isnt such a good idea after all).
