wow, a catnap....how nice would that be. only me and a female colleauge in the office full time for the next two weeks which is good. she has a 3 year old so she doesn't mind me asking all manner of things.

i am going to get my book out that i bought and actually use it for what i intended it for:- questions, ideas etc. i have never been one for a journal etc, so find writing certain things down difficult (unless they are lists etc) so will have to make an effort with this.

hubby phoned me this morning after he finished work and could tell i was a bit flat. asked me what was wrong, did the usual and said 'nothing'. text him and said i am just a bit fed up with feeling sick all the time and i didn't want to keep going on about it to him. bless, he replied saying he could understand it was getting to me a bit because it would do him if he was feeling like that all the time. we are sooooooo different as people, but it is sooooooo lovely when he gets where i am coming from (okay soppy moment over).

still debating the nappy issue.... i was being swayed to disposables yesterday, but have gone back to the idea of real nappies today as i have been doing some reading. might explain the sums (comparisons etc) to hubby and see if he has a change of heart.

You're lucky AF - I have got no hope of getting my hubby to talk nappies - he is insistent that we don't need to worry about any of that til much later :rolleyes:


I know what you mean about being a bit fed up with it all though - I have got spots on my temples and all around my hairline and I generally just feel a bit minging - I want to get to the radiant glow, shiny hair bit ASAP (or at least have a bump so people don't focus on my spotty face and my strangely changed shape). I can't wait to be in maternity wear!

oh dont think i get any great conversation, i just get 'i think we should have disposables'. that's it. man of a few words my hubby (whereas i am the opposite)

sorry to hear about the spots, but i understand wanting the 'radiant glow'. oh i dont want to show for ages!!!! would like to keep it hidden for as long as i can, or at least until i tell people at work.

Time to get out of my PJs - I've just been warned OH's best mate is due round shortly..

The housework is staring me in the face - from where I'm sitting I can see a pile of ironing, a fishtank that needs cleaning and a bunch of flowers that need removing (oh and the TV!) - so I'm feeling a right lazy so-and-so. However, I'm one of them normally anyway so I'm in no danger of actually sorting it.. just fed up of looking at it.

I've run out of money admin stuff I can do from the sofa - been sorting a balance transfer away from nasty Barclaycard! (see, faint glimmer of something moneysaving in my moaning post somewhere! )

MFD - I know exactly what you mean about the not-glowing part. I have come out in loads of spots and my hair is so greasy all the time. Well I am 10wks today so hopefully the glowing will start in the next few weeks!

Had a big argument with dh before he is a pain in the a*** always wanting to spend money lately. He needs a bike to get to uni, but won't settle for a 2nd hand one or one of the cheaper range from the shop......Noooo it has to be a certain make as that is what he has researched as being 'the best' Aargh anyway in the not so mse style, I have sent hm off to Halford with my cc to gt whatever the hell he wants.
I just feel tired and queasy so can't be bothered with any of it at the moment and he won't wait until the weekend!!!!!!

Anyway moan over - I had my scan date through today, a week Tuesday so I am looking forwar to that (scared too) but not sure what to do with the boys yet, as my family barely help out at all.

Take 'em with you if our scan dept is anything to go by! I thought it would be just pregnant women and their blokes/mums/friends but it was overrun with small children and buggies - plus the fathers, sisters and friends with their kids too by the looks of it!

Hello can I join? Have worked out my due date should be 4th April 2009 so very early days at the mo but fingers crossed, you can probably tell from my username its my second!

I got my bfp about 2weeks ago now and I think its only just sunk in to be honest, was very shocked even though it was planned, just didnt imagine it would happen so quickly!

Is anyone else due around the same time?
