  • Hi Ladies!

I am now 7w6d and I am so ravenously hungry it is getting ridiculous. So far today I have eaten:

2 grapefuit (peeled last night inpreparation)
    3 crumpets
    1 small sausage roll
    1 bag french fries
    1 satsuma
2 slices toast with 1/2 tin beans
another 2 slices of toast because I am still starving :o

I just don't know what to do with myself, I can't keep on eating like this, I will be the size of a house  but at the same time I don't want to be hungry.

I have another 2 satsumas and an apple on my desk which I know won't make it to the end of the day...

    Any advice?

Edited to add - good luck to the 'imminent' ladies (apologies for being self absorbed)

fruit and salad wont really add much wieght but will help fill you up,raisins and dried fruits can be snacked on aswell.try rivitas aswell they always filled me up quite well and cereal.your list doesnt seem to have that much to me though so i shouldnt worry to much.

Hi ladies, i've started to get worried over everything now. I need to ask the consultant and midwife what is going to happen about my bp if it does goes high close to the birth-its been going a bit higher when i go in (i feel worried though when i go in-white coat thingy) and they raised my bp tablets slightly. Im now worrying im not going to be able to cope, maybe its just my hormones all over the place but im finding myself getting rather upset and worried over the whole birth thing as its getting closer.

Im hoping when i see the midwife tomorrow, she can go over birth plans with me to try and stop me worrying so much.

Im not good with 'not knowing' if you get what i mean, its the unexpected that scares me i like to be prepared.

  • Hi Keelykat,

Just noticed you are Wolverhampton - are you going into New Cross? Did you consider anywhere else? What was it like when you went to look around?

Going to pore over your earlier posts now to get an idea what I am in for!!!

Hi my fathers daughters-yes im going to New Cross, i didnt want to go anywhere else to be honest. Its easy to get to, and so far havent had any problems with the nurses/consultants etc. At the hospital tour i was really pleased to see that it was modern, very clean and had all the facilities needed. As im classed as high risk (high bp) im consultant lead, instead of midwife (still see one regular though)-theyve treated me really well.

Are you going to New X too?
