    Congratulations purplegirl and Samantha 06!!!
I too am worried about post natal depression as I;ve had it before and things are not of the greatest of circumstances latley. The fact that it's better out than in as far as stress is concerned, makes me feel better for yelling at my ex's mum when she had the cheek to tell me I must name the baby after her parents! This is despite the fact that her son has very little to do with me now-just really visiting our other kids and exchanging very fake pleasantries with me-and has never been to or even asked about any of my hospital appiontments-i'm 33 weeks now!
I'll literally told her where to shove it-and felt very good about myself afterwoods as for 17years that woman was a tight moo to me,lol!

  • HI guys
Just a quick question I am about 6wks pregnant now and I am having no symptoms at all, some days I get a little tired but that it even my sore breast have gone...so its making me worry.

Is there anyone else out there that didnt get any symptoms & everything was fine?? I keep reading that feeling sick is good becouse it means you are producing the hormones to sustain the pregnancy.
    Thanks everyone. Rx

Hi Rachael-don't worry.I'm on my 4th and there is no set rule to what you should/should not be feeling! With my first I was never sick-had no idea what morning sickness was.But the others made up for it!In the early days with this one,I was really ill at first then nothing then ill again.Don't worry, speak to your doctor if your worried, but it is not unusual.HTH.

i wish id had no sickness for the first 3-4 months all i did was be sick:(

for those worried about pnd speak to your midwifes mine is great as i have had it before shes written in my notes to keep me in overnight after the birth and to attend a baby and parent day unit so they can help me with bonding etc.
its a really nice place to go aswell the staff are really friendly and they can include ur partners if u have one if thats what u would want if not they wait in a waiting room with cups of tea or coffee lol.

Can I be added to the list please? I have been lurking but have now had my scan so would be very proud to see my name on the list! I am due 18 September with our first baby. We are desperately saving like mad to build up a house fund before I leave work in August and I love this website.
