. Really do want to start TTC again but will probably wait a little while yet, although at 34 I'm a late starter at this mummy lark so I had better get my skates on!
you've got years to go yet SB! I turned 41 last month and it's my first, I'm in awe of you 3kids having almost 4 already :T
I think Bailey was pregnant with her first when i first joined the TTC club mind you, look how time has flown since then...
Purplegirl, i haven't bothered with a Tens machine as i'm planning to use the birthing pool and they aren't really compatible! But if you're still able to get out and about, you might be able to get one from Boots? Fraid i didn't really look into the costs of hire/buying them.
Carol9, make sure you rest as advised, you've got a big big chance of a very healthy baby on those results, so make sure you take it easy while your body recovers from the test.0 -
eventually had bp checked again yesterday and it was up again to 140/90, so having yet another checkup today. Coincided with another bit of parental mayhem so my mum has said she'll try to stop my dad speaking to me on the phone until the baby's out!
Had another 2 hours of warmup contractions last night, and one mega one woke me up early this morning but nothing since. LO is getting ready for the real world, but i do wish he'd stop taking his time about it! :rotfl:0 -

I got my bfp last saturday and I haven't had any symptoms yet other than tender breasts...I was just wondering when peoples symptoms kicked in. With my first I was shattered the entire pregnancy, 2nd was much easier but with a 7 yr gap (forgotten the horrors of pregnancy:D )and being 36 I just wondered if that would make a difference....Thanks Rx
Congrats to you! A friend has just had her 4th on a 6yr age gap (last ones out were twins!) and she said she felt a lot more shattered this time round but was generally fit... 3kids can probably give you more of an idea, since i suspect it's a hell of a lot harder based on the number of LOs running around requiring you to look after them rather than what age you are!0 -
Don't suppose any of you ladies know of any nursing bra bargains to be had do you? Went into M&S as I get a 20% discount, but they are still £20 in there. I must be a 38/40C by now I think, god knows what I will end up as when the milk comes in!2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0

I had intended on getting one but with one thing or another i totally forgot. Now I am wondering if I should pay for a special delivery of one or not?
I hired a TENS from boots for my first labour but to be honest, for me, it didn't really do a lot but get in the way! I didn't bother with my second - gas and air all the way!0 -

Don't know what the quality will be like but I noticed nursing bras in tescos for £5 last time i was in. Only for c cup and above though0 -
I have decided to hire a tens, its costing £25 for 6 weeks and will be delivered tomorrow (fingers crossed it arrives before the baby!!!). I am hoping to use it at home until I am ab,e to go to the birth centre, then I want to use the birth pool and the lovely gas and air!!
Well the baby is due today and his bedroom furniture arrived today  nothing like being prepared is there!! Now I can hang his clothes up at last, well after OH and FIL have put it together which will probably be tommorow if bub is still not on the way.0 -

Hi everyone!
We have told a few more people about us being pregnant (I'm bout 8/9 weeks) and the amount of stuff people are offering us is amazing!
Don't think we have to buy anything really!
I plan to keep it all and do it for the next person that I find out is pregnant.
Anyways, my question of the day is "Where can I get a belly ring that is suitable for my bump when I get bigger?" Don't really want to lose the piercing even though I'm 26 and no one gets to look at my belly anymores anyways!Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010
